On Febuary 16, 2015 James Cox owner of GnG Electrical LLC was hired to update electrical service at Kingstowne Manor Condos in Commerce Twp. He or his employees were grossly negligent by driving a copper ground rod into soil direclely in front of a natural gas service valve penatrating a gas line causing a gas leak which eventially was ignated by a flame and destroying the homes of eight homeowners. James Cox in his statement to investigators admitted to "dropping off two subcontractors " who were not liscensed or insured to update an electrical box. He did not call Miss dig or get a permitt from the twp. till the day after the fire. When they went to ground the electrical box they hit a gas line. The employess then called James Cox who arrived at the scene after the fire starred. At no time did GnG or his employees try to evacuate or help any unit owners vacate the building. The fire destroyed 4 and dammaged 4 other unitss and left 17 people homeless. He was not at the scene when emergency responders arrived, but met with investigators the next day. We personally lost a home of 40 yrs all our possessions, and our beloved family pet. James Cox's blatent gross neglegence and incompetence has permanently devasted our community.
Description of Work: WARNIG GnG Electrica; LLC was hired to update electrical service ar 2637 Kingstowne Commerce Twp. He had rwo unliscenced, unsupervised employee's doing electrical work whose gross negligence and incompetente ultimately caused a gas leak that led to a fire that destroyed our condo as well as 7 others. At know time did he try evacuate or warn anyone of then impending disaster. His negligence caused my pets DEATH!!!! James Cosx the owner is negligent and should not be allowed to do any type of electrical work. There are now 17 homeless prople to do his blatent neglect.WARNING!!!

Jim came by the previous Saturday, looking up the requirements of the water heater and explained the job/options and considerations to me. On the day of the job he come on time and did a very thorough job. He completed his work in about 2 hours. The AC/heater company was able to install the hybrid water heater the next day easily.
Description of Work: Hired Jim to do two things - Install a 220V line in my basement as I was switching from a gas water heater to GE Hybrid/Electric water heater Install motion sensitive light with security camera at the back of my house.
