+ -1 moreVery responsive at the beginning of the project. Office staff was professional. Project took twice as long as it was scheduled. Compo brought in 3 different painting firms and two different electrical firms. Tile contractor tiled over the heating/AC vent in the bathroom. The room gets NO air conditioning in the summer. Majority of the work was subcontracted out - they do very little work with their own personnel. After the project was finished I had to bring in my own electrical firm to fix lights that wouldn't work. Electrical work was sloppy and I did not trust their electrician to come back to my home.

+ 1 moreThey made two visits here, and they were very good, but we didn't use them because some medical issues came up and our priorities changed. They were very impressive in their presentation, and they were two very pleasant individuals. I called several of their references who had nothing but the finest things to say about them. The only downside about them was that they were on the high end of the price scale. They were very, very nice, very professional, and I felt very comfortable in their presence. They certainly knew what they were talking about. I would use them in the future if they could come down on their price a little bit, and we could meet somewhere midway.
Description of Work: We received a quote from James D Campo, Inc. for remodeling our bathroom. My wife has Parkinson's, and we were looking for somebody who was familiar with some of the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. They are two brothers that are running the company which was started by their grandfather, and they strictly do luxury homes, individual homes and custom built homes. They are right now into remodeling also. One of the brothers is CAPS certified, and he has had special training on how to do remodeling for handicapped individuals.

Description of Work: He redid a house that we bought. He did everything from new construction to new wiring, to lawn maintenance, to planting trees.
