Amistee Air Duct Cleaning and Insulation

From the initial call to appointment and follow up the office staff was friendly and courteous. The work team of Chad and Josh were very conscientious about my floors (it was raining that day) and made certain everything in the set up was to my satisfaction. They explained the steps they would follow and an estimate of the time it would take them to clean all the vents, air ducts and returns. They were very timely in that estimate and explained the process as they went along. When completed they quickly removed the equipment, and were on their way. While their price was higher than what you find in the sale flyers I believe it ended up being close to comparable as there were no attempts to add on or sell up. I only gave a B on the Price category because while fair, it would have to have been lower to be outstanding.

It went very well, the office is very responsive. The men cleaning the ducts were very professional and tried to keep their tracks and work as clean as possible.

Rick and Rob arrived on time and were very professional. They wore booties over shoes, laid a tarp on floor, and had wall sponge bumpers to protect my home. They patiently answered all my questions and were very thorough in cleaning our air ducts. Highly recommended. Extremely satisfied and have already recommended this company to others.

Chad and Matthew arrived right on time, very friendly and professional. They both took care not to wear their shoes in the house. They explained what the cleaning procedure consisted of and then went to town cleaning 27 years worth of dust and debris. The before and after pictures were comforting, to know we will no longer be breathing that accumulation of crud in our lungs. Thanks Amistee! I ll be seeing you again in a few years!!

I had a great experience beginning with Laura at Customer Service to Dan/Tommy who provided the services. Everyone was always very friendly and accomodating. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs this type of service. I will certainly use them again in the futre.

I would make two request for the future: 1) carry replacement vent caps, and 2) after finishing the work come back inside the house and check the dryer duct. It turned out that the duct tape joining parts of the duct at a bend came apart in the cleaning process and a cold wind was blowing into my basement. The hinged cover to the duct opening to the outdoors was no longer closing either. I doubt this was a result of the cleaning, it just would be nice to know the job was completely finished. I would have been glad to pay for a new cap.

Scheduling was flexible and accommodating. The crew called to confirm appointment before arrival. No surprise visits. Offered and explained additional services but did not press when declined. Prompt and timely service, no wasted time by idling or dawdling. Took precautions against dirt and cleaned up following service. I have recommended this Company to other people and would use this Company again.

The $99 was a special from Angie's List. He took a picture of the cleaned vent and showed it to me. I got a "followup" call to see how everything went. Very efficient and professional.

The service was wonderful, they were wonderful. I would highly recommend them, and I would definitely use them again. They gave me a quote for installation, which was very reasonable, but did not fit in our budget right now, and so we will use them later this year. There was nothing bad about them. They were very quick and efficient. The young men that came were very polite, and they were right on time. The lady that I spoke to when scheduling the appointment was very friendly, and wonderful as well.

They were GREAT! They called right before they arrived. They worked efficiently, thoroughly, and professionally, covering their feet and laying down tarp on the carpet. They answered all my questions, cleaned up after themselves, and were very considerate of my elderly indoor cat, helping me make sure that he didn't escape while they were doing their work. Four days after they were here, they emailed me before-and-after pictures which showed all the junk that had accumulated in my vents over the years. What was gross is now nice and shiny clean.

Team was very professional. Even though they accidentally cut a low-voltage source to the humidifier they admitted their mistake and we promptly fixed it. Accidents happen and this was a small one.
