Amistee Air Duct Cleaning and Insulation

I was impressed with everything about Amistee from the professionalism of the initial contact, prompt replies, timeliness of technicians, professionalism of technicians, etc...

My experience from the start was great. I spoke to a sales woman, who was very courteous and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and scheduled my cleaning. I was contacted a few days prior to my scheduled date, just to make sure everything was still a go. One the day of the cleaning, The service guys arrived on time, and actually called to see if they could come earlier, but I was unable to accommodate that, but very much appreciate the offer. The guys were very professional, they were very clean, and worked hard to get all of the dirt and dust out of the ducts. I appreciated the quality of work and its nice to be breathing clean air again!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have their air ducts cleaned.

Excellent availability (time and distance were and issue for me), priced as quoted, friendly and knowledgeable service men. Waited to issue review as I wanted to run my duct work while using the furnace to see if any major dust would be present from the forced air. None, as expected!

My appointment was from 11-1, they called the day before to confirm. They were running ahead of schedule so called to see if they could come early. They arrived about 1030. Barry was very friendly and explained everything he was doing. The before and after pictures are great! I would definitely recommend Amistee. They were easy to do business with and very reasonable on price.

It was fine. They took the lint with them as I didn't see any left.

Service was quick and efficient.

They were polite and professional; they covered theirshoes when in the house. The plugged all the entry points and walked me through the process before and after. They completed the work in much less time than the original estimate.

Appointment was made same-day. Heather described the service and timing in very good detail, and was helpful to make the appointment same day. Crew (Barry and Tyler) called ahead of time just like they said they would, and showed up on time. They explained the process to my wife and made her feel very comfortable with the work they would do. They worked quickly, but noted that as their last appointment of the day, they could take their time and do it right. They did a thorough job and showed the results (pictures before and after). All in all, great experience, will definitely call again next appointed time. (apparently every three years, not every thirty.....yeah, the ducts were quite dirty...) We called Amistee Air Duct Cleaning and they sent a truck and two man crew the very next day, we felt lucky because the area was so hard hit with flooding we thought we would be waiting for days. The two servicemen were Jim Stewart and Roy Roberts. When you find yourself in a situation where your world is upside down these two guys are the ones you want on your team. They were professional, experienced, knowledgeable and totally concerned with our well being. I am on oxygen 24/7 so a proper job is needed, the job these two guys did was nothing short of a miracle, I now can remain in my home without fear. I want to thank Amistee Air Duct Cleaning for their fast response and for sending a crew that was so dedicated to doing the job right. These two guys are an asset to your company and I shall recommend this company to all my family, friends and neightbors.

It went great. .Did what there job entailed. They were very professional. They cleaned all return vents,heat vents,all air side vents of the furnace, and sanitizer vents. Very efficient.

Amistee was recommended to me by someone in the restoration business, so I knew they must do good work. On my initial call I was given a price quote and a description of the services they would be providing, and how long it would take. I received calls to confirm the appointment, and everyone along the way was very nice and professional. Chad and another worker (his name escapes me, sorry) came right on time the day of the scheduled service. They were very nice, and Chad went over everything they would be doing and explained each step to me. They got right to work and were very mindful to not do any damage to the house. They worked quickly but appeared to be very thorough. They offered a deodorizing option for an additional $60, which I agreed to. Our new house was previously inhabited by a smoker who had several pets, and so I thought it would only help to have the deodorizer applied. I don't know if it was effective or not, but I will assume it has helped. At the end of the job Chad showed me the before and after photos, and these were also mailed and emailed to me later on, which was nice. I would definitely recommend Amistee to anyone needing their ductwork cleaned. Everyone was very professional and they did a great job.

With my wife having heavy allergies, it was extremely important to do as much preventative maintenance in our new home to eliminate dust and other allergens. After do my own research on Air Duct cleaning companies, I decided to go with Amistee. From the initial phone contact, to the clean day Amistee was professional. They arrived early, and explained in detail the process and how long it would take. Both techs Chad and Jeff was spot on GREAT guys. During the clean, they found some issues within my furnace and brought it to my attention. If you follow me on yelp, you know I rarely give out 5 stars, my experience was 10 out of 10, the best $400 I've ever spent.

The service went well. Two people came out for the service. The technicians were professional and did a nice job. They were good at explaining the process before they got started as far as the noise and the dust level. I had no problem getting in touch with the company or scheduling the service.

They were wonderful! The two men were well trained and knew exactly what they were doing. They worked efficiently and showed great care in their work throughout our home. In addition, they were careful to answer any of our questions and to provide us with pre and post photos of the ducts. We have cats and they were very careful and thoughtful about helping keep them calm and safe. The work was done in a timely manner and they came and left at the time that had been told to us. The charge was exactly what they had quoted and it was a pleasure working with the office as well as with the workers.

We called Amistee because of dust in the ducts from newly installed hardwood floors. Barry and Tyler arrived on time and were very efficient. They clearly explained the process to me and even handled some issues with our ductwork. They were very careful of my moldings and newly installed hardwood floors. We have a large house with two furnaces and they were finished in 3 hours. They blew out all the vents and then used an agitator in the ducts to ensure they were completely clean and all the dust was evacuated. They replaced the furnace filters with ones I provided and cleaned both blower motors. They took before and after photos. Our ducts are now sparkling clean and the house never smelled better. Amistee quoted the job over the phone and the cost was the same on the invoice except Barry and Tyler asked if we were Angie's List members and reminded me of the coupon there. So the cost was $50 less. Now that's customer service !!! We clearly made the right choice in selecting Amistee. Thanks to all who reviewed and recommended them, And THANKS to Barry and Tyler.

Called for more info and scheduled a date & time for work to be done. Service reps were at my house on time, and swiftly put booties over their shoes when they entered my house. They explained the duct cleaning process, I took them downstairs, and they got to work. They were both constantly busy and didn't dilly-dally around. Both men were knowledgable, friendly, and courteous, and worked together as a efficient team!

The company was very professional and service-oriented, from the bidding of the job to the completion of it. They even vacuumed and swept up afterwards. Very clean. Very kind and trustworthy.

They did a tremendous job. Definitely an A plus. I would absolutely use them again.

I was called 35mins prior to the appointment by their office to let me know the team were on schedule and would be arriving at the allotted time. The vehicle arrived promptly. The team leader introduced himself and his co-worker. He gave me initial run through of how the work would be carried out and how long it would take. He also informed me of potential noise that would be made by the various tools during the process, some which may upset our dog if he was in close proximity. (In the end the dog lay outside quite happily not far from the truck during the cleaning) . Next into the basement to check out the layout and they described in detail what would be done. The equipment was then set up and they accessed the air ducts as described. "Before" pictures were taken and I was shown the various areas of the ducting system. Once the cleaning started they kept me informed of the process through out. When complete, they tidied up everything behind them, showed me the after pictures Both employees were very professional and polite. I would definitely recommend them to others.

For the money I can't really say in all honesty they were better than anybody else. I know the rest of the people are cheaper and I've had this done before. I don't know if I would use them again because they were quite high.

Barry and Skylar were professional and on time. Very informative and polite. Kept on task and asked questions when needed which was appreciated. I got pictures of the before and after. I am very pleased. They were in and out quickly.

They came out on time, were very nice and professional. I even told them they didn't have to wear the booties because I was getting my carpets cleaned and they insisted. I had just moved into this home and there was black soot all around the vents so I assumed the ducts had never been cleaned. When Dan went up he came back and showed me pictures of very pristine vents. He stated that the filter in my only air return in the house was very dirty and due to only having one return, things were slipping by and coming back out the vents. I appreciated his advice to change the filter and consider adding a couple returns. They were quick, efficient, and kind. Best of all there was no charge! I would use and recommend them in the future. In fact, my mom was so impressed, she just scheduled an appointment to have them come clean her vents.

Chad and Josh from Amistee were courteous, clean and professional. They took the time to place covers on their shoes, put tarps down and clean up throughly after the service. They cleaned our entire duct system and the dryer vent pipe. We will definitely use Amistee again in a few years or if we purchase another home. And by the way, our dryer vent pipe was filled with lint and we thought we maintained it well, we were wrong. Glad we had it done.

Jim & Tommy came in for a reclean. Unfortunately, the dryer vent cleaning resulted in a disconnect and the lint was re-introduced into my duct work. Amistee was quick to repair the dryer duct and scheduled a no-charge re-clean. Guys are quick, trustworthy and friendly. I would recommend this company. I was a first time duct cleaning person. I checked Angie's List, Bob Villa ... all the google stuff. My expectations were reasonable, and I'm glad I had it done. As for price, I think they are reasonable. There are always Groupons that are cheaper, but they have hidden add-on costs.

Jim and Tommy were very prompt, very professional, and very personable. They explained the process clearly and answered all my questions. They worked hard and did a thorough job. We put off duct cleaning for years but our experience with Amistee, represented by Jim and Tommy, was a great one. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to have their ducts cleaned!
