Amistee Air Duct Cleaning and Insulation

Contact center very friendly, got a reminder call as well. Came right on time. Jacob and George were friendly and professional. Offered the sanitizing service for an additional cost. I wasn't sure so they gave me some info on the product (benefect) so I was able to do some research online on the product while they were doing the cleaning. Decided to have them do the additional sanitizing. Answered all my questions. Cleaned up after themselves. Happy with the service.

I ordered a complete air duct cleaning from Amistee through Angie's List and was called later that day to schedule my appointment. I received reminders leading up to my appointment and the Tech's, Jackie and Brian, showed up right on schedule. Jackie and Brian were very professional and friendly. They worked quickly but thoroughly and kept me informed of everything they were doing. I was very pleased with the entire experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service and I will be using Amistee again in the future.

Professional work from beginning to end. Appointment was made in a timely fashion and reminder calls were made when promised. Technicians were prompt and friendly and took time to explain the process thoroughly. Price was higher than other vendors but there was no limit placed on the number of heat vents cleaned, so the price ended up being comparable. Before and after pictures were sent to my email address same day. Excellent service!

I can't remember if we were charged more than the coupon price, but I don't think so (this was done a long time ago). We had just finished renovating our kitchen and dining room, including knocking down some walls, so we bought this assuming our ducts would be very dirty. They didn't end up being very bad (they showed us pictures ahead of time), but that wasn't their fault and they performed the service as described. Overall happy with the experience, but at the end of the day didn't really need it (but I guess no dust is better than some dust).

We decided that is was time to have the air ducts and furnace cleaned in our home. This was the first time that we have had this service performed since we have lived here (10 yrs). The team of two showed up from Amistee on time and in uniforms. It was snowing this day and they were very neat and were removing their shoes as they went in and out of the home. They put down canvas drop cloths to protect the walls, doors and carpet from their large hoses. They explained to me all that they would be doing and did not mind that I followed them around to see exactly how dirty the ducts were and the stuff they found. Prior to them beginning the work, they explained that since our basement had a drywall ceiling that they could not guarantee 100% that they would get everything. With a drop celing or an unfinished ceiling they are able to move to all the ducts and returns to ensure that they are cleaned. Since this was the first time that we were having this done, I presumed that anything they did was better that what we had and decided to proceed. The work took about 2 hours. They took before and after pictures to show what they cleaned and how much better it looked after they were done. I was able to stick my hand in the holes they cut in the duct work before they started and could feel all the dust on the duct work. Occassionally during the cleaning I would hear a large noise go thru the vacuum, most likely a piece of dry wall from when the home was originally built. My wife noticed a difference immediately the next day on how much fresher and cleaner the air seemed. We would definitely recommend Amistee again.

they came within the time frame of the apt time. they were very courteous, informative about what the procedure was. very professional and showed me what they did. my humidifier on the furnace crumbled when they tried to clean it. they had one on the truck and showed me how to install it and left the box so I could buy the next one and install it myself. I will recommend this company to my family, friends, and neighbors.

They called back same day and gave me a quote over the phone, and were able to schedule within a week. They showed up exactly when they said they would and were very professional and friendly. They explained everything they were going to do, seemed to do a very good job and cleaned up after. Jackie and Jonah were the ones at our house and I would highly recommend them - they seem very experienced, and Jackie was able to give us some pointers on our furnace. Very professional and prompt. The cleaners used tarps and boot covers. Cleaned up any mess from drywall and even vacuumed up some dust and dog hair in corners. They sent me before and after pictures the next day. Definitely will hire them again in a couple years.

I had the air ducts cleaned by a different company about 4 years ago, but still noticed lot of dust in the house and since we have lots of allergies decided to call Amistee Air Duct Cleaning, Brian and Barry came right on time and showed me all the debris that the other company had missed and left behind in the air ducts. They showed me before and after pictures and I was very please with their work. They were friendly and willing to answer all my question. Real good customer service.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Amistee. I had originally scheduled them to come out and clean our vents in July, but when they arrived they identified potential asbestos in our ductwork and didn't feel safe cleaning the vents. We had the ductwork tested, confirmed the asbestos, had it removed, and then added new ductwork. I then had someone from Amistee come out and inspect the new ductwork to make sure there wouldn't be any other issues, and once they confirmed that everything looked good, I scheduled the duct cleaning again. Joe and his partner showed up right at 8:30am and were done in about 2 hours. Joe was great about keeping me updated about the status of the cleaning, showing lots of pictures along the way. He even found several "fur-burgers" in the ductwork from the previous owners' dogs. I opted to have the ducts sanitized as well since I just bought the home and had no idea what all could have been growing in the ducts from the previous owners. We also had the dryer vent cleaned out and it was amazing how much lint and dust came out of that vent (Joe said we were probably close to a house fire). I've already noticed how much faster our clothes dry in the dryer. The previous homeowners said that the ducts had been cleaned by another company last November, but based on the pictures Joe showed me, it was clear that the company they used didn't really know what they were doing. You really do get what you pay for with air duct cleaning, and I highly recommend spending the money to have Amistee clean your home.

I was very pleased with my experience using Amistee to clean the air ducts and dryer vent in my newly purchased home. They were on time, explained what they were doing, and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Jake and Mike were the technicians that performed the cleaning. They were both very nice, professional and courteous. They wore booties over their shoes to avoid tracking dirt in from outside. I have a pet and they were very courteous and worked with me so that he didn't escape outside. After the work was complete Jake showed me before and after photos of the duct. It was nice to see the difference the cleaning made. I would recommend this company. They were professional and prompt with their appointment time too.

Joe and Mike arrived at approx. 8:30AM introduced themselves and proceeded to explain and demonstrate what and how the air duct cleaning process would be done. It took about 2 1/2 hrs. after which Joe explained in detail the entire process and showed me the video images of how the ducts looked before and after, I could not believe the amount of dirt and debris that had collected over the years. I moved into the house in April of 2015 and judging from all the pet hair and other disgusting objects, I don't think the duct work had ever been cleaned as thoroughly, if at all, as it was today, what a remarkable difference. Also, I'm glad I decided to include the sanitizer and deodorizer. I am more than pleased with the outcome and quite honestly I feel more comfortable in my home. Joe and Mike did an outstanding job! I highly recommend Amistee Air Duct Cleaning.

Jackie B and Jacob arrived at 11:20 am (within the 11-1 window promised at the time of scheduling). Jackie took the lead in doing a walk through of the house and thoroughly explaining the cleaning process. Before and after pictures were taken at each step and it was clear the vents in my house had never been cleaned (I've here 10 years). I decided to have the optional Thyme oil based disinfectant applied after the process and I'm very happy with the results. Jackie and Jacob wore booties each time they entered the house and they left the premises with no evidence that the 3 hour project had been completed. I would highly recommend Amistee to clean your duct work. My only disappointment is that I didn't do this process sooner.

The Amistee workers were very good. Before they started to work they told us exactly what they were going to do and about how long they would need to clean up. We were very satisfied and give the company high marks.

The service was paid by a restoration contractor as part of an insurance claim, so I cannot comment on price. However, I did want to comment on the excellent service provided. Barry and Alex were professional, friendly, helpful, and thorough.

They came in and hooked up their system to clean everything out they were very friendly, professional and they cleaned up after the job. The house smells great and very airy. We're handicapped and they we're very accommodating us with everything. Thank you so much!
