I recently bought a house off of a short sale and the former owners raised dogs in the house. As you might expect the house had been neglected and the duct work was a hot mess of dog hair, dander, and other unsavory dust/human skin! Amistee came in and cleaned the duct work from fop to bottom. When they were done, they showed me the before and after pictures and it was like night and day! The duct work was clean enough to eat off of.

The guys worked efficiently and decided against doing our top floor ducts. They didn't want to do damage to the soft ducts and therefore knocked down the price. I appreciated the honestly.

From beginning to end, Amistee Air Duct Cleaning was professional, courteous, and helpful. The receptionist, Julie, was polite and informative. Her quote was accurate, and there were no hidden fees. She called the day before to confirm our appointment (service people would arrive within a 1 hour window) and again, the day of, to tell us the names of the people who would be performing the duct cleaning. Cleaning specialists, Melvin and Greg, were professional, polite, and efficient. Melvin thoroughly explained the process before beginning. They wore shoe coverings & put down tarps to protect our floors. When the job was complete, Melvin had me check his work - everything was neat & clean. I would highly recommend Amistee.

The work went very well. The only problem was they had the wrong phone number for me so they could not call me when they were on their way. But everything turned out okay.

This is my third time using Amistee Air Duct Cleaning. They get five stars from me because Julie called and let me know the technicians were 20 minutes away. They were on time. Melvin and James were professional and very courteous. I like when they introduce themselves and let me know how they are going to get the job done. The dryer vent in this house runs from the laundry room upstairs thru the storage room downstairs. It took about an hour and there was no mess left for me to clean up. I'm sure I'll be calling Amistee again next year. Great company to deal with.

Jackie and Greg were on time and friendly. The job took a couple of hours and by the pictures we received, they were thorough and did an excellent job. There was no mess to clean up. The balance due was exactly as quoted. No scare tactics or high pressure. We are ready for winter. Thanks for the great job. Highly recommend this company.

Melvin and Mike were experienced, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I've never had ducts cleaned before and the process was less disruptive than I expected. Not every bit of my clutter and junk got back exactly where it had been, but cleanup was good. If the company could figure out a way to block off most of the open door so fewer bugs get in, that would be even better. Also, they could have been clearer during scheduling; I still don't know whether the crew was supposed to show up at 1:00 for a 1:00-3:00 slot. I called at 1:45 but would have appreciated a heads-up; they got there just before 2:30. I'm quite happy with the experience, as long as our ac is OK. -- it seems to be acting feeble. I'll update this review if there turns out to be a problem. Update 7/13/16: Amistee sent someone to check the ac, since its problem (if it has one) seemed to coincide with the cleaning. They offered to do that, no problem -- good business practice! (And it wasn't the coil, so maybe just a coincidence.) I think they deserve their great reputation. The only other thing I'd say is that I didn't realize how much crap would rain down from the basement ceiling when the ducts were cleaned. Surprise! But I have no regrets. I posted this on Yelp too. Thanks to Angie's List for the info! That's how I found this company. BTW your question below doesn't make any sense: "Was money paid or were services performed?" Yes or no -- hunh?

Guys were on time, took video of the process, and did a very thorough job. They were able to show us some of the oddities of our ductwork - where ducts were split between rooms, ducts that lead to nothing, etc. It was good information and we were very happy with the service!

Jacob and Chris arrived as scheduled. Explained exactly what they were going to do. We had just purchased this 50 year old house and the system was never cleaned. I was shocked at the amount of dust and debris that was in the system. We also had the optional sanitizer preformed. They took before and after pictures. The system looked brand new when it was complete. The two techs did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Amistee to anyone that needs this service done.

Excellent. Crew would not leave until all lint was removed from duct. Crew had to enter crawl space 3 separate times to ensure work was complete and they cleaned entire length on vent.

It went well. The guys were not only polite, but were personable. I believe that that did a good job because they showed the before and after photos on some of the ducts. Also, I was able to tell the difference with the air quality afterwards. The only problem was that I needed to cut a hole into my drywall ceiling so that they could get to the main line. I understand that it was require to cut the hole in order for a proper cleaning. However, the guy had me cut a hole way larger than he really needed. As a result I need to do some extra dry wall patch work so that I can get a standard cover over the area. The hole needs to be a fraction of what he told me it needed to be, which would have been a lot easier to cover. However, I still give the actual cleaning service an A rating, because the two events are not related, but I just want people to know that the hole issue came up. I would definitely call them back -- especially now that the hole is already cut.

Jake and Rob, arrived on time, and were very professional. This home was built in the mid eighty's, and the ducts have never been cleaned. The amount of debris they removed was in incredible. When they finished, they cleaned up, including vacuuming the living room carpet. Jake explained to me what was done, and what to do if I had any problems(there are none at all). These two guy's are gems!!! I couldn't be more happy with them, and this Company. Hiring a someone site unseen, can be bad, even from Angie's List. This one is OUTSTANDING!! It went very well. Joe and Mike were great. They were on time, ready to work. They knew exactly what they were doing, and explained it all in detail to me. I was shown before and after photos of my system. They definitely deserve to be paid a high wage for what they do, and for their knowledge. I definitely would recommend them, and this company.
