Jeff came in talked about the problem and got to work finding a clog in the main pipe going out of the basement that caused the problem. After the clog was removed Jeff water tested the system to make sure there weren't other problems. Thanks

good. faucet repaired with no issues

Long's located a plastic water line to supply the ice maker in my refrigerator upstairs. They found a rupture in the line about three feet away from where the water was dripping from the ductwork. They replaced the plastic line with a flexible metal hose, repaired the two faucets upstairs, cleaned up within 45 minutes.

They were excellent. Very friendly, effecient and accomodating. They were very good on price. I had a referal that has used them in the past.

I was satisfied. As far as I remember they came out in a timely fashion and did a neat and clean job. I think they are very good. I have used them for years and will continue. They are timely, polite and neat. They clean up after themselves and I have never had any problems. It was not the cheapest, but it certainly was not the most expensive. They were very nice and were decent people.

I called because the sump pump was noisy and when Jeff arrived, he found a leak that would have become a major problem. The check valve and two sections of PVC pipe were replaced in less than an hour. I was delighted with Jeff, the great repair and the price. Thank you....

I called and left a message on their answering service near midnight. The technician called back within 15 minutes as the recording promised. We decided to wait and have them come out during the day to save some money. The tech called at the very end of our appointment window to let us know that he was running late, wish we had been informed earlier. The drain was cleaned quickly once he arrived and other than our water draining, you couldn't tell they had been there at all.

The clog was over 25' from sink. The company came quickly, fixed the problem and advised us on how to prevent its reoccurrence.

Put in a new discharge pipe for our sump pump, the old one was no longer sending water down toward the back sewer and was using the secondary discharge outlet which would go under the deck and seep back in. They installed a new one and hand dug laying new pipe from the the house to the back of the yard. They did not damage any of the shrubs or planter boxes surrounding the deck and did it in such a way that the grass was returned to its original location. Treated it like it was theirs. Done in one afternoon. (Another company was actually doing the same service at the same time at a neighbors house. A large part of their yard was dug up with a machine and it took days to complete). The only thing I didn't like is the trench line is still raised. I am thinking it will settle back down, so it will be fine in the long run. They did the same thing next door a couple years ago and it settled just fine. I was very happy with the end result. Their customer service was excellent, the guys doing the work were very friendly and knew what they were doing!

We enjoyed working with the Long designer, and found her advice very helpful. We ultimately did not have Long do the remodeling, for price reasons.

Charlie (the tech onsite) was on-time, professional, friendly and he even put on boot covers to protect the carpet and floors. He did an excellent job repairing three gas pipe fittings in a timely manner. I intend to call Long's Plumbing for other jobs at our home.

We have always had great experiences with Long's. This time, during the harsh winter freeze, our kitchen pipe burst in the basement. Long's had someone (Jeff, I think - I'm awful with names) out within the hour, and in short order the pipes were repaired. In addition, shutoff valves were installed right near the sink to avoid having to shut off the main water supply, should this ever happen again. The guys are always prompt, courteous, and professional, and the ladies in the office are great as well.

The replacement valve was upgraded and installed within a very short period of time. It was done right the fist time and we were very pleased with the results.

Everything went great! We were replacing a tub with a shower in one of our bathrooms. I had two other plumbing companies out before Long's plumbing. The first well-known plumbing company gave me a ridiculous price, so I scheduled for the work to be performed by the second plumbing company on the appointment date. I didn't request an estimate visit from the second plumbing company because they charged by the hour, so I figured it was going to be a few hours max. The gentleman that came out from the second company gave me the impression that he really didn't want to work. He was telling me how hard the job would be in detail, all the while pausing along the way to give me a chance to back out. I told him that I needed to work done. He said that he would need some help, so he went out to his car to call the office to see if there was someone that they could send over to assist him. Came back in and said that the job was an all day 2 man job, which they couldn't do until the following week. I made am appointment with Long's Plumbing and Charlie came out. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He tackled the job in 4 hours all by himself. They are now my plumbing company and I'd recommend them to anyone. They are honest and fair.

He came out and serviced our furnace. Everything is working properly.

I have used Long Plumbing for several plumbing issues, and have always had an extremely satisfactory experience. Professional service, with what I believe is a fair price. The latest issue was with a new vanity sink leak. The installer of that, not through Long, did not properly seal everything. I called some other plumbing company, by accident to repair it. They charged me $100 and I found the problem still existed. Instead of calling that business back to fix the issue, I chalked that up to a loss, and called Long, who I'd had good history with. Sure enough, problem fixed.

Cassandra was the designer and contractor with Longs. She had a great design and is enthusiastic. However she did not do a great job overseeing the remodel. 1) We had one set of wrong cabinets delivered. (2- door instead of one door). They would have been installed had we not examined them and caught the error. 2)They retrofitted these cabinets by sawing out the middle piece and covering it with molding instead of ordering the proper cabinet. 3) Cassandra assured us that the new flooring did not require the installing of a subfloor. It did require a subfloor and Cassandra would not pay for it, so we ended up paying the flooring subcontractor. 4) the countertop sample we chose did not match the counter that was delivered. When we asked to see the sample we initially were shown, we were given a sample that we didn't remember. 4) the crown molding at the top of the cabinets flared out and extended well past the end of the wall. It looked obviously wrong, but we had to ask that it be removed and a flat top added. We think the designer should have caught this after the initial measurements were taken. 5) we made it very clear that we wanted the job to be finished by Thanksgiving (they started in late August) and we were reassured that it would be. It was not fully completed until January of the next year. Some other disappointments were due to our naand iuml;vetand eacute;. We did not think to ask to see what the entire cabinet looked like, we were only shown the door, which we like. We didn't know that they had a wide flared molding at the top. This is not our taste and we lose about 6 inches of storage space between the cabinet and the ceiling due to this. All in all, our kitchen is better than it was, but we've lost some cabinet space and we paid top dollar for something less than our dream kitchen. We felt that we were misled.

I think it's a fair price. They're punctual, doing an excellent job and they're very thorough. The design team was wonderful to work with.
