Description of Work: Had e mailed asking for a quote on topsoil. Heard nothing back for 2.5 days so made an online note that I was unhappy with delayed response. Person responded saying my inquiry had gone to SPAM. Person scolded me for making them look bad in ratings and that no one in area was doing topsoil deliveries yet anyway. (Who knew?) | |I said I hadn't intended to do harm but how could I have known ? | |Person kind of had a meltdown and started screaming at me and I screamed back and we hung up on each other. He lost it.

Description of Work: Cleaned snow during winter from driveway and walks. Although requested service occurred late in season because of lack of response from another source after payment, Rouse cleaned all snow for remainder of the winter season.

Description of Work: We've had really good experiences with Roose Bros. When I first decided to have landscaping done I called many places, most of whom did not call me back, several of whom came out to give me ideas then were never available to schedule the work to be done, and one of whom made an appointment and didn't show. Landscapers get crazy busy in the season so I get that. But I still. I came upon Roose Bros and had an entirely different experience. Not only did they make an appointment to meet with me shortly after I talked with them, Mike had great ideas and got us scheduled within just a few weeks. They showed up when they said they would, they were efficient and got the project done quickly, and they did excellent work. We couldn't be happier. We came up with a few more things to do the next season and had the same great experience. We've found our landscape company. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: An old tenant wanted to extend the driveway by dumping a pile of loose asphalt/gravel next to the concrete drive. Roose Bros leveled the area and hauled away the excess at a fraction of what other landscaping crews quoted me at. Very pleased with the service and would recommend their services in the future.

Description of Work: Snow removal during winter at my colonial house. Came as nessary and removed snow every 2" or greater snowfall. Did an excellent job for 2 winters. First winter came after original cheap contractor never showed up dispite promises. Was a life saver for my daughter as I was wintering in Florida.

Description of Work: Graded the long path leading to our driveway. When we asked that one side have a deeper gulley to help guide runoff--they came right back and did that. Very prompt, courteous, and responsive.

Description of Work: I contacted Roose Bros a couple of years ago to do lawn maintenance for my elderly Mother. They have provided a high quality job, and great customer service. As I live an hour away, I depend on Roose Bros. to be reliable and trustworthy, both of which they have proven without incident. I plan to renew again this year, and look forward to the peace of mind that Mom's lawn is taken care of.

Description of Work: We contracted with Roose Brothers Maintenance for snow removal. This is our second winter with Roose and we are very pleased with their work and prompt service. Roose uses new, well maintained equipment and always finishes the job by hand shoveling snow near the house and in the tight areas. We recommend Roose Brothers to anyone who wants worry free snow service.

Description of Work: Roose Bros Ground Maintenance removed snow from our large "circle" dirveway all winter. We did not expect them to hand shovel two(2)sidewalks as well but they did that every time. Good job, prompt service. |Worth every dime we spent with them.

Description of Work: We tried other lawn maintenance companies and were never happy until we hired Roose Bros. about five years ago. We've never considered changing since then. They do a great job, always on time (weather permitting) and take care of any special needs quickly. We found the same great service and quality of work on the landscaping side of the business. They have done considerable planting, bed design and other types of outdoor work for us. Out of all the fall planting they did for us in 2011 only one small bush died. One phone call, no questions asked, they quickly replaced the bush without charge in the spring. Out of all the services Roose Bros. has performed for us the only thing we weren't completely happy with was fertilization. We had been using a company that specializes in fertilization but decided to try Roose Bros. for a season. Hard to make the call but at the end of that season we decided the specialty company did a better job at their specialty. We recommend Roose Bros. for outdoor maintenance, landscape design and execution without reservation. We learned that it really is a "family business" and they treat their customers like one of the family. in addition to high quality work, they are a pleasure to do business with. If you're interested in having a well kept, attractive lawn and landscape at a fair price you can't go wrong with these folks.

Description of Work: We received an estimate from them on a large project. We wanted to put some shrubbery around our deck which we ended up not doing as we changed our minds. They also completed some work and moved around some landscaping and sprinkler heads.
