Description of Work: They put in new landscaping and rock in the front of our house. They utilized some plants that we already had by moving some around and splitting some bigger plants. They were very efficient and had a great price. When other companies wouldn't take the time to return our phone calls and put us on a long wait list, Tobin came out the next day and worked us into their schedules as soon as they could. Our landscaping looks very clean and well done. We were very happy with the results and the price. We will definitely be using them again.

Description of Work: I have an annual contract with this company for trimming and pruning of my landscaping and monthly weeding. Service is good, prices reasonable. I do have to follow up repeatedly sometimes with phone calls and emails, but they are generally responsive, just not the first time. Last spring, I had requested a special additional spraying because of some issues with the arbor vita around my deck. I called about it twice, but it was never done.

 + -1 moreIt took over 4 weeks for the workers to finally show up and begin work of covering the lawn with herbicide, days later they began adding top soil, grading and leveling the the lawn. Then the crew showed up to add the seed, mulch and fertilizer; that is when I discovered that it was not Tobin Landscape doing any of the work, but had subcontracted to HyroSeed out of Osceola, IN. I did not mind that HydroSeed did the work, they did an very good job in the initial leveling and seeding. And they have been back to fertilize and lay down herbicides for the emergent weeds twice now and say they will be back for further weed treatments. All in all, I have been very happy with the work HydroSeed has done. I would recommend Tobin be more transparent with subcontracting, when Tobin did explain why they chose Hydroseed when seeding is required, it made perfect sense and I continue to be pleased with HydroSeed work. When I have landscaping needs, I will call Tobin Landscaping.
Description of Work: Tobin Landscape measured the front yard & gave a final cost for leveling, using herbicide on existing ground cover, adding top soil, seeding and fertilizing the front yard - over 14000 sq.ft.

 + 0 moreHe drew out plans and showed us different kinds of plants and so forth. It cost us a lot of money. He is expensive. Our experience with him has been good. He is a typical landscaper.
