Brawny Builders

Brawny Builders was great on all accounts. They helped with the design of our project which included a new front entrance, large rear deck, a couple sections of fence and an outdoor shower. They had a competitive quote and we’re able to start quickly. Their crew was hard working, very courteous and customer focused. The project was completed within the agreed timeframe and slightly under budget. The best thing about working with Brawny Builders was their effectiveness in communicating with me about all phases of the project. We’ve worked with many contractors over our years and no one comes to Brawny Builders in their customer relations. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Very prompt, communication great, did a great job on our pole barn which was damaged after tree fell on it.

The team from Brawny Builders exceeded my expectations. They worked so quickly and effectively. I was unable to be home while they completed the project. The whole time I recieved frequent updates including pictures and they always left things clean. They were sure to ask if I had any concerns and addressed them immediately when I did. Their price was the most affordable out of all of my quotes by far! It took more time than expected for my windows to come in but they were frequently checking in when they got tracking updates.The most impactful part of this project was their respect for me as a single mom and their willingness to engage with my toddlers on the few occasions that we were all around the house at the same time. I am already recommending them to everyone I know and will continue to do so! I look forward to hiring them for future projects in my home!

Excellent Work! Job was preformed as promised including raising one door so it would clear the porch floor. Worked was completed in one day - ahead of original schedule.

We did a bathroom remodel with Brawny Builders. It went great. Bronson and his hard working crew arrived promptly each day and did all the work as promised and always cleaned up their mess. They tore out our old shower and closet and replaced it with a large ceramic shower and a new floor. The bathroom is beautiful and we love it. We would not hesitate to hire them again and would very much recommend them.

We had to go in a different direction after contacting Brawny Builders, so we were not able to hire them, but they would be my first call any time I had a project. Bronson was very prompt and responsive in answering our queries, got someone out to measure and gave us a very fair quote within a week of my contacting him. He also furnished me with a copy of his insurance without even requesting it - another reassurance that they are true professionals. We had had several disappointing attempts to get quotes from other companies, and this company was head and shoulders above any other.

I am very pleased with the results. The work done by Brawny Builders solved all my problems. The owner provided an initial verbal estimate and then followed up with a written estimate; and stayed within the estimate. Upon arrival for the job, he provided a copy of his Certificate of Liability Insurance and a copy of his State of Michigan Individual Builder License. Brawny Builders was professional and skilled in their work.

They did a very nice job of removing an existing porch and roof. Then rebuilding with the roof pitch 90 degrees to the old.

They were great they were on time and very efficient. They had to custom built new shutters which they did right on site which another company made it sound like making the shutters was going to be very difficult and expensive. Also they clean up all the old stucco and trim they took off and cleaned up everything when they were done. I was extremely happy with them. Because we were very satisfied with them we are having them give us a quote on replacing our 2 sets of sliders. The work was done July 13th and they finish on July 14th. Also these guys made sure I understood what they would do and were very nice to get to know

Quick and painless. We had major issues with a different contractor and they removed the bad job and replaced the tile to our specifications. It looks great!

Bronson was great to work with, very quick to respond to questions via text or email, found solutions for working around the quirks of our 100 year old house, pulling in other professionals when it was appropriate to do so. They also installed a couple of ceiling fans.

Bronson was quick in responding to my inquiry and was available for me, even though I had waited until the last minute to request the work. He showed up on time and completed the work as he described, going above and beyond to finish on time. I will definitely be using him again in ther near future for any handyman, plumbing, or maintenance work in my home.

Drywall installation went fine. Very bad tape and mud. Some areas we found unfinished when we started to paint. It was not paint ready. Ceramic tile looked good until you really look at where the ceiling meets the wall, not straight. They sound like they know there stuff but sloppy and overpriced.

Contractor acquired wood to match flooring, moved hardwood so thatseperation was located at transition point and installed door jamb piece. Contractor had to find matching wood.Side trim was removed, flooring was moved and new piece was installed. Also fixed gap in flooring under and adjacent to our refrigerator

We are very pleased with the entire project--from demolition to final details. Our new basement is wonderful--everything we had hoped it would be. It was great to work with Brawny Builders. They are great at communicating throughout the entire process and are reliable. You can trust them to do great work!

Awesome! I was blown away by how well the entire project turned out. Everyone was on time and kept us informed throughout the process. The kitchen turned out looking like a million bucks, I'm beyond pleased. You guys ROCK!

Doors installed ok. 1 had to be redone and way overpriced. Wallboard installed ok but mudding and sanding not good quality. Places needed to be redone and still not good. After we painted you really could see all the flaws. We had to clean up alot of dried mud that was in places that should have been cleaned up. Tile work good but over way over priced. We kept being put off in scheduling like we were not a priority which put us behind on our plans.

Very well. I was pleased with how they took care of me and worked through problems they encountered. They made recommendations, were honest and helpful, and let me make the ultimate decisions about the showers. It took longer than originally planned, but I was happy to work with them, as they were always great to us. They always had a great attitude and are genuine people. So glad we found them. Bronson and the other members of his team gave us great advice on how to keep moisture from our attic. They installed the proper vents and alerted us to other concerns like inadequate insulation. They worked with our schedule and were polite and professional. The cost they charged was fair for the service they provided and they gave us several options to choose from. We will definitely call them for future projects. Highly recommend!
