While the two gentleman from Allied who performed the work were prompt and seemed up front with their pricing, the problem is still not fixed correctly. They did perform work that required removing some drywall so they could access the pipe, however, shortly after they performed the work, the pipe is still leaking into the basement (although not as much). While I have no complaints about the cost or punctuality of the individuals who performed the service, I would still like the problem fixed which has cost me $300+ so far and is not resolved. I have tried to contact the individuals twice by phone and left messages. The first time, an individual got back to me and left a message about a week and a half after I called. When I called again and left a message, I have still not received a response and this was several weeks ago now. Looks like at this point I will have to hire another plumber to perform the work again.
Description of Work: I had a drainage pipe from my laundry room that was leaking into the basement of my house. The plumber attempted to correct that issue.

The owner apologized for the disagreement. He inform me when Allied would be in my neighborhood. Due to their busy schedule it took 2 days from the last message Alan ( the owner) left before the dirt was finally leveled in my backyard. I am pleased and no longer stressed.

November 23,2014 a Sunday evening the basement drain was flooding ,used " Google" to find plumbers, Allied Plumbing & Sewer was one of a few others which were called. Spoke with Alan told him the problem, the rate was better so Allied was hired. The Plumbers came later that evening seen the flooded drain, said had to use cameras to find out what the cause. While using cameras Alan showed me the problem. The sewer drains were old and corroded, also tree roots was another factor. Allied did use a snake to drain the basement. Since this has recurred several times, I wanted to know what could be done to eliminate the flooding , cost and time. After inspecting the backyard, Alan explain what was going to happen, the depth of excavating, the dept of cutting 3 ft. in length cement slab C/A sits, PVC pipe, length and circumference. The total cost came to $3505.00. I asked Alan if Allied accept credit cards, he said yes. Allied Plumbing & Sewer was there Wednesday morning, November 26,2015. it took the entire morning and afternoon before the job was done.Occasionally I would check on them just to see how things were going. Once it was done Alan came in the house and wanted to show me that they were done. So we went in the backyard, seen the new piping and all the excavated dirt., Alan said to called Allied in the Spring and they will come back out and level the dirt. Once they were paid the the plumbers were gone. Tuesday, April 14,2015 called Allied Plumbing & Sewer left message, regarding leveling dirt in backyard. Called again following day spoke with Alan , asked about them coming out to level dirt in backyard he his response was " WHEN IT'S CONVENIENT" I asked what does they mean ? his reply if there is another job in the area. When will that me, I asked? He doesn't know, Alan respond. He also mention schedule an appointment and pay to have them come out. I said i wasn't going to pay and I hung up. I am very angry that I was lied to and told to pay a fee have them come back out to basically clean up their mess!! All I want is for the business to come back out at no additional charge to me and level the dirt they dug up in my backyard. I have already paid them $3505.00. Since I have a locked fence I need to know in advance when Allied will come back out.

Response from Allied Plumbing & Sewer
(removed member name) you are being very malicious and going to extreme lengths to slander our company. We provided you quality service at a fair price and the job was completed properly. Fixing underground piping requires a lot of digging and most soil has a swell factor which takes time to settle. How mother nature decides to settle this soil is out of our control and is clearly stated in the contract. I said "if you need help with the dirt call us in the spring" because you seemed to be living alone and I was trying to be helpful. Grading excavated soil is not included in any sewer repair so in order to bring equipment out at no additional cost has to be at our convenience. The plumbing is what matters and that's what you paid for. To grade everything we did with a B and then give us an overall F is a blatant and over exaggerated attack on our company so who is the real liar here. How about "thanks Allied for buying hundreds of dollars in plywood just to cover my new driveway so the excavator or soil didn't scratch it" or "thanks for doing such dangerous work to protect the health and safety of my home."
