Scott and his team transformed our back room area by installing a 84x64 picture window from a solid wall. Very responsive, fast and clean with attention to detail. Will definitely hire again!

Everything went well and was clean an tidy when they left. Cost came in lower than originally discussed due to some things not being as bad as we assumed. Overall I feel that I was working with an honest company that does great work.

It went great! We got a few different quotes and Miller Building's was the best. They gave us an estimate of when to start, and even with a massive wind storm, the time was not delayed. They secured all the permits needed and had a dumpster delivered. It was all finished within one week. The roof and siding look great. It has been about 3 months and we've had no issues since.

Fantastic Scott great to work with kept us informed, quality products used top notch, crew neat respectful of our home. Project had flexability still came in on time and most of all on budget. Great attention was paid to detail and our wishes were always met. We have already hired Scott Miller for another in home project and recommended his company to friends and family. A job more than well done.

I called twice and tried to contact them through email on their web site. No response, no call back, they must have plenty of work. Better this happens now and not after they start working.

Scott and company were easy to deal with and did everything they said they would do. I had them sister some joists, finish rooms in the basement, add lighting and a wet bar. They also put down some tile and put in a bigger service panel. Permits were pulled and inspections completed. I would recommend adding Miller Building to your list of potential service providers

I originally planned on doing most of this myself, I had designed the garage and pulled necessary permits, but as I researched it more I realized I was over my head a bit. I had done work before (finished basements, electrical, siding, roofing), but I could not handle that much concrete myself (or with help) and I did not have the technical knowledge to frame a garage. Especially, considering that the garage I had to design required a hip roof with valleys. I assumed and had planned for engineered trusses, but had no idea how to go about procuring them. I contacted many builders in the area about doing this job, Miller was one of the people I contacted. After meeting with each builder once, and the final two three times a piece, Miller was the most impressive by far. Three things stood out to me, one was the technical knowledge and the fact that they would bring up subjects I had not thought about, the second was their willingness to meet with me whenever I wanted to discuss this in detail (considering I am quite picky), and the third was their responsiveness in getting back to me (this carried on throughout the project as well). Their price was fair, in fact the lower of the the two finalists for the job, but that is not what convinced me on them. What really convinced me was the thought they put into the project. The other builders came out and would ask questions to clarify anything that was not specific but Miller brought things up that I had not even thought of. The best example of this was the drainage (considering I was to have a garage and a long driveway back to it, they recognized that I was going to need a way to handle all the water that was going to collect). They suggested some underground drainage piping (with gutters dropping into it) for many reasons. Financially it was quite minor in comparison to the whole job, but it really made the job a home run (I never have to deal with water collecting anywhere, including snow in the winter). When I asked their competition about drainage the response was "four downspouts at the corners". The job went well, there were a few snags along the way, but with a project as big as this was you are never going to get perfection. The snags that were encountered were discussed and taken care of to my satisfaction in a prompt way. Also, other projects I was doing at the time added some complication to this, Miller worked well with me to keep everything running smoothly. My only real complaint, and to be frank this is typical of the building industry, is the "how long will this take?", "when are you going to get started?" type of thing. I am an engineer by trade, so I am used to a slipped deadline or estimate as a huge deal. 2015 was a busy year for building, so the delays that were encountered likely fall under "normal" and building has to deal with weather and various other issues. All in all the project was done when it needed to be done, but it did start later than I wanted it to (and later than I was told it would). From the start time it did run to the time I was told it would take. All things considered I believe it was minor and I would just go into any project like this with the expectation that there will be delays. In conclusion if I were to be undertaking a large project like this again, I would not have to meet with anyone else. I would simply just call them.

Scott did a first class job with this project. He did what he said he was going to do and finished on the scheduled time frame. The project consisted of adding heat, electrical, trim, flooring and paint. Everything turned out great. I would highly recommend him.

Scott and his team are awesome. We hired Miller to put an addition on our home. The Miller team did everything they could to minimize the mess and disruption to our lives while the addition was going up. The work was top notch all the way, couldn't ask for anything more. What we apprecaited most was the honesty and integrity that Miller displayed. He communicated with us very well and we encounted no surprises along the way. Hard to find honest people to work with nowadays but Miller is just that.

Miller Building Company is the most professional remodeling company I have had the pleasure to work with. I hired Miller Building Company to finish a bathroom update and I had initially hired a 'handyman' to do. I let the handyman go when the quality of work left much to be desired. Miller Building Company is very detail oriented and worked with me to finish the job to my satisfaction. Miller Building was always on time and kept me informed throughout the job. They take the extra steps needed to get the job done, get it done right, on time and on budget. They were respectful of my home and took extra care to minimize disruption caused by construction. Each person I interacted with from Miller Building was polite and professional.

It went great! Scott did a fantastic job coordinating all the different work that needed to be done (demo, electrical, hvac, etc) He was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns, down to the little things like where to put the dumpster and making a special trip to do a small amount of caulking in the ceiling to make it 100% perfect. He also walked us through each step of the process, and emailed or phoned us with daily updates. All permits were obtained and all inspections passed with flying colors. Workers were very courteous and punctual. All in all, very happy with the work performed.

Miller Building Co did a great job helping us to renovate our home over the years. Projects included complete tear out and kitchen/bath remodel, new electric, new drywall, exterior siding, paint, etc. I continue to use them for renovation projects.

My wife and I badly wanted hardwood floors throughout the house, but because of a sagging dinning room floor we were about to settle for carpet. We quoted having the floor leveled with a few other building co. but quotes were just to high to make it practical. Miller building co. gave us a solution and a price that made it possible. The workcrew was here on time at 7:30 each day, Plastic curtians were hung to contain any saw dust to the work site. The work crew was skilled at what they did and executed the job exactly to plan, no shortcuts were taken. Care was taken to assure that the floor was level on both sides of a partiton that was located in the middle of the span...not an easy task. But they knew thier job and executed it well. They finish on time and cleaned any mess that they had made. The final result was a perfectly level subfloor that we can now use to support hardwood floors in the house.

They are pretty good. They have taken care of any problems we have had so far. We had a few problem, but we talk to them, and they get the fixed.

It was great! They kept us informed every step of the way when waiting on city inspections. Each crew member in their specialties were excellent.

Scott was very professional. They came out to do the job and the measurements weren't quite right. Scott ripped out the whole unit and re-made it for me at no cost, which was amazing. Now I have a beautiful mud room unit for all of our coats, shoes, beach towels, etc. The unit is tall, made with bead board and wood. I have 8 slots for our shoes, a shelf on the top, 3 large boxes/shelves for storage and 4 coat hooks. It looks like the units that builders are starting to put in their new homes in Washington Twp. I am very happy with it.

Scott and his crew arrived on time, did the demo work quickly and cleaned up the bathrooms to prepare for the arrival of the granite crew. Upon the arrival of the granite installation crew, they figured out how to get the granite up the stairs, around corners and into the baths for installation. Once the plan was made they quickly got the granite in place, finished the backsplashes and cleaned up. A few days later the drywall was repaired, the final caulking completed and the job was done. Scott and his crew did a great job to get in and out clean up the work areas and the countertops and baths look great. I would highly recommend Miller Building Co.

After meeting with Scott Miller, owner of Miller Building Co LLC, we knew we found the right person. Scott kept good communication with us throughout our project. We were able to be hands-on and involved with decisions that were important to us. Everything went smooth as could be. He did a great job coordinating all the trades and materials. He also had some great recommendations for us throughout our project, as well. He's very approachable and professional.
