Description of Work: Charest Heating & Cooling has 24 hour service and arrived very soon after we called them on a very hot 94 degree Saturday. We decided to replace the entire heating and cooling system. They were able to get the system on a Sunday and then install the air condition system on the same day. Pricing was reasonable and the installers did a very professional job and cleaned up after the installation

Description of Work: When he cleaned the furnace he didn't turn it back on. We left for the winter not knowing the furnace was off. My pipes burst and water started going in the basement , my brother-in-law realized the furnace was not on. He contacted us and we gave him you're number. When u came you charged us $75 to turn it back on. You said we must have turned it off. Really? We don't even know how. Thanks for nothing.

+ -1 moreWhen I bought my house, I had a brand new central AC unit...or so I thought. The unit konked out shortly after. I called a few AC guys who told me it was hopeless and that I needed a new AC unit. Mike Charest came out and said "no problem, I'll rebuild it for you." And that's exactly what he did. My house is now nice and cool. Also, Mike is a very nice guy and easy to work with.

+ -1 moreI have been using them for years. I found him when I moved in to the house. He picks up your call immediately whenever you call him or he returns your call. No matter how busy he is, he puts me on priority. He puts me first in the list and I don’t know why he does that. He comes out the same day or early morning to make things right. I really appreciate his responsiveness. He is very responsible and I don’t think he tries to charge you more for add-ons. He is very honest about the pricing and repair parts. I really appreciate him.
Description of Work: I use Charest Heating & Cooling for heating and AC work. The person I use is Mike Charest. He is doing a little bit of work on my humidifier on my furnace right now. I used him last Wednesday and he will be coming back next Tuesday to do some work for me. By the time he finishes the job he might charge me $500. So far it has been $99.

+ -1 moreCalled Monday, got a second quote Monday evening, Scheduled deposit and pre-install service call with the Owner on Tuesday AM, Installed Thursday AM. Done in time to cool off the record 105 degree heat... AMEN. I haven't had functioning A/C for several years and it never worked super well or QUIETLY before finally breaking down. Mike Charest was referred by my neighbor, the condo board president. He did her A/C and worked on the Clubhouse furnace. He was able to give me a reasonable ballpark estimate over the phone and when he came over to plan the work and get the deposit, the price was within $80 of the phone estimate. He installed an AMANA unit and it is Truly WHISPER-Quiet. His price was $150 less than Custom Temp. Control in Clawson, BUT the real reason I selected him was the Scheduling and the promised quietness of the unit. I wanted A/C by the Soonest Possible date and got it, plus an excellent unit and great price. Mike was straight-forward and honest, the install Techs were professional and thorough and they answered my questions happily and explained things in English.
Description of Work: Removed freon from 35 old A/C in condo shed. Ran 220 power from old Dryer outlet in basement. (I've had a gas dryer for 20 years) Installed the new A/C compressor in a different / exterior location. Installed the new inside (furnace) part of the system. Ran start-up and was finished at just about the time they said they'd be done.
