Sales Experience - Prior to installation (the explaining of services, products offered, colors and quoting experience), the sales person took his time and was able to answer all questions or get back to us the following day with answers he did not readily have. I felt guilty but we had him for two days and an approximate total of four hours - but he left with a signed agreement after the second day. Installation - Punctual, responsive to questions and needs, and professional. Arrived on-time, put in a good days-work every day, and duration to completion was shorter than expected. The workers picked up the grounds every day before departing to keep it clean. When the job was done, the owner (Paul) took us around the house to look at the installation and answer any questions. He stated if we were not happy with anything he would have it fixed immediately (not needed - the work was perfect as promised). Crew - I'd stop on various days and had questions. Crew people (whoever I asked that day), stopped what they were doing, answer the questions, offered to show me whatever I wanted, and finished with asking if I had any other question or something else they could help with. Very sociable. My wife was at home the majority of the time when the workers were here and never heard a single expletive (my wife listens for these as we have smaller children in the neighborhood). Very much appreciated and respected by the neighbors. Bonus - additional work was done to add some decorative touches at the peaks of the home and attached garage; included in price. Surprises: A) Unknown to the owner, I had planned to replace the outer doorbell button as it was old and had been painted over to cover up the wear and tear. When I came home on the day the job was finished, I saw he had the doorbell button replaced at his expense (nice touch!). B) Paul went on-line and registered our windows and siding for us with the manufacturers to begin our warranties (double-lifetime warranty on the windows - can pass on lifetime warranty to home-buyers if we eventually sell the home). Saved us the trouble. C) Crew re-hung all the window hardware and shade that we removed for the window installation - although that was not part of the contract. Cost - a little higher than competitors, but quality of product was also a little higher. Fits the old saying, "you get what you pay for". My wife and I feel every cent was well spent and every cent was well earned! Summary - We were so pleased with the job, I even tipped the owner with the request he buy everyone that was on our the job a nice lunch - satisfaction achieved!! (If you're reading this, thanks Paul & crew!). Even the neighbors were out admiring and sharing their complements on the finished job!

From start to finish was great experience..professional crew. Efficient and did more than expected. Love our home!!

A salesman came and talked about the high quality work they did. The home could be wrapped, insulated and then sided. He was not pushy, but was competent and understood the nature of the job. Both my son and I were in agreement that A1 is a experienced company and that we would surely like their work. We have other plans for the house right now, but should I find it affordable and renew my plans for the place I will certainly call on A1.

It isn't every time you hire a company to do a job for you and it is done beyond your greatest expectations. Paul came to our home soon after our phone conversation and went through all of the options his company provides. He does not have a high pressure type sales attitude, he just gave us facts and ideas in a friendly and knowledgeable way. It wasn't hard to choose him to do our work. We have a crazy shaped ranch home with 3 additions and our job was certainly not a straight forward one! When we were having problems deciding between 2 colors Paul brought over large pieces to help us decide. When the crew arrived they were just great guys and we felt safe and comfortable having them around. Once the job began they were here daily (except for weekends) until the job was finished. They cleaned up every day which meant a lot to us as we have grandchildren here often. Our home does not look better, it looks transformed!!!!!!!!! We are so happy with every detail that was so carefully done. When they were finished they spent quite a bit of time going around and checking details to see that all was finished properly. We didn't fully realize ahead of time all that would be involved in this process but we cannot honestly say enough about how pleased we are. So thank you Paul and the A-1 Vinyl Siding Co. !!!!!!

Overall, Paul and his crew did an A++ job! They started with the windows the first three days, and then did all the wood siding on the house (the original vinyl siding was left as it still was in good shape). Paul and his team were very professional. Paul was extremely customer service oriented and very responsive. I felt very strongly that Paul was looking out for my best interests as he noticed a couple of defects in the windows that I wouldn't have noticed, and he had them replaced. Paul and his team were very courteous towards my family and respectful of my house (inside & outside). They also cleaned up after themselves which was very appreciated. I'd highly recommend using A-1 Vinyl and would be happy to give a verbal references, and a site visit.

Had leak after new siding installed almost two years.thought It was fixed until beginning of April when it returned. Had Mr. Rogers out from A-1 vinyl siding was very responsive and he and his crew were out in 4 business days to start and finish job. Would highly recommend A-1 vinyl siding for new installation or fixing a problem on a existing house.

Looks great (attention to detail (caulk, siding etc.), cleaned up afterward, Paul was punctual, cooperative and easy to work with.

From start to finish, it was an excellent experience. I left a message with A-1 in the early afternoon and Paul called me back that evening. He asked me to take some pictures of the trouble spot and e-mail them to him for diagnosis. He promptly returned the e-mail and walked us through the repair process. They came out two days later and repaired the spot while we were at work. It looks great and we are extremely happy with the service. They even fixed a few other loose spots that they had noticed at no additional charge.

Paul promptly responded to my initial phone call and came over the following day to gve us an estimate. What really impressed me was the fact that he didn't think twice about making the drive from New Baltimore to Novi. Even in a down economy, there is always a concern that businesses will only take jobs in their general location. Paul gave detailed explanations of what work needed to be done and all questions were answered thoroughly. His estimate came the following day via email along with a brilliant way to show exactly what work would be done on the house. He came out that same week and completed the job in the time frame promised. His crew was great and when the job was complete, they cleaned up to the point you wouldn't have even known that they were there. I would definitely choose his company again if I needed any additional work done. Job well done!!

Paul Rogers and his crew did everything they said they would and then-some. The material, work and clean-up were top notch! Paul and his entire crew were professional, respectful, cordial, accommodating, expert and a pleasure to deal with. Not only did they do an incredible job they also know how to treat a customer. Any other work I need done or my family or friends need done, Paul and his crew will get the call.

Saw a house were they had just completed a job ( very nice work ) . Called to get an estimate, very professional with allot of detail, liked the price. order windows and doors,when they arrive they will start job. took less then a week ( big job ) Very Happy with the finished job A+++

The work and the professionalism of the salesperson and the owner and crew was wonderful. Jeff the salesperson gave me very explicit information and wrote out the details of the work that would be performed and the cost to do the job. He provided me with copies of the companies contractor license and liability insurance. I did not receive this from other companies. The owner of the company Paul maintained contact with me prior to the start of the job. The job was started on the date they gave me and they were on time everyday. Once they started the job they worked on it everyday until it was completed. Paul and his crew were very professional answered any questions I had and the finished product is beautiful. This is a company that does what they say they will and goes the extra mile to do a good job. Paul installed a new doorbell without additional charge because the old one would not have looked good with the new siding. They also reversed a storm window for me that had been put in upside down by someone else. Jeff assured me I would not be sorry if I used A-1 Vinyl siding and he was right. I would recommend them if you want a fair price and a professional job done the quality of there work is awesome.

A-1 Vinyl siding was not the cheapest but the quote indicated it would result in better job. Workers were polite, on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. Very pleased with the results! Will use this contractor again!

I am very cautious when hiring contractors. I received several quotes and looked at multiple houses of siding contractors before deciding to use A-1 Vinyl siding. I was very impressed with the work I saw that a-1 vinyl siding had done. They were priced well, so I decided to use the company. They did everything they said they were going to do and did exceptional work. The workers were very professional and curtious and cleaned up each day. I was pleasantly surprised when the work was finished and everything was completed without any problems or shoty work. Based on the experience I had with this company I highly recommend them not only to angies list subscribers but to my family and friends.

Overall, it could not have gone better. The price was right, they arrived when promised, they completed the project when promised, and the quaility of work was excellent. The two technicians both had many years experience. They were professional and courteous. The materials used (Mastic) was premium.

In nearly 40 years of remodeling and sub contracting work on former homes, I finally met the "best" in A-1 Vinyl Siding, Inc. along with Paul Rodgers and his crew. Paul returned our call the very first day and arranged for Jeff Manoski, the Project Consultant, to met with us the next day. Both were prompt, most friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their siding and gutter business. Jeff completely sold us on the job by stressing the "quality" of their work, experience and attention to detail. His initial suggestions for color and design were most helpful and really ended up making this an absolutely beautiful job on a 15 yr. old ranch style home. Their team has been together many years and you can see it in the precision of their corners, matching angles and fit and their concern for the customer. Paul, Craig and Matt worked from 8:30A until they cleaned up at approx. 4:30P each day. They stuck to the plan, but always had time to answer a questions or make a suggestion...a really good group of professionals. For $7,600, A-1 Vinyl Siding, Inc showed up as scheduled for 3 days, did us a favor by painting 10 original wooden window frames and 2 doors the day before, then proceeded to tear down the old and install the new fabulous looking and classic Mastic handsplit 9" staggered Shakes over the garage, chimney and bay area. In addition, they trimmed all the windows and doors and installed 3/4" Insulation and Housewrap on the chimney and front gable. The aluminum Gutters and Downspouts were done in the same Pebblestone Clay color...and the match is perfect!!! This was an A-1 job, by an A-1 Company and we highly recommend them to anyone seeking a totally reliable and very skilled group of workers.

It went great.. They were there when they said they would be. We asked them to stop because of the Holiday and they were very cooperative.. Just a great group of guys and work was great, and we are so pleased with the house the way it looks. all of our neighbors are commenting on what a fast and great job they did!
