A big reason I selected A-1 is that Jeff spent time with us to go over in detail what they were going to do. He listened and incorporated by comments/concerns. The crew worked diligently and did a very nice job. They cleaned up the site very well. The crew was friendly and easy to work with. Paul, the owner of the company stopped by and checked on the job periodically. Jeff and Paul followed up after the job was done to make sure we were satisfied.

I was in constant contact with the owner Paul Rogers that came out after the salesman wrote up the quote to do second measurement and asset the total job. Paul said they have just one crew and that way they keep the high quality they have had over 25 years +. The crew arrived two weeks later on Tuesday as was told because Monday rained. They worked the first two days. Unfortunately the next two days it rained. I thought they would work Saturday, but they don’t so and they were back Monday thru Thursday and finished the work. I could not overly express how pleased I am with their thoroughness, friendliness and quality. The crew headed by Craig with Brent and Matt and later Doug to install the gutters with leaf relief protection and downspouts was absolutely amazing. My house looks like a new house with no maintenance. I highly recommend that you include A-1 Vinyl Siding Co and these guys if you’re considering updating your house. Hopefully I can post before and after pictures. I simply can believe this is my house when see it.

I have owned houses for almost fifty years, and I have not had a better experience with a contractor on a major home project than I had with A-1 Vinyl Siding Co. The salesman, Jeff, was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to us in making choices. There was no pressure to buy immediately, and I had the estimate in hand when he left. The cost was competitive. I was primarily interested in quality materials, excellent workmanship, and a smooth installation. I believe that’s exactly what I got. A-1’s scheduling worked out so that the job was started quickly. The members of the installation crew were friendly, respectful of our property, accommodating, and seemed very skilled and experienced. They cleaned up each evening before leaving. A-1 left a trailer in our driveway throughout the week of installation and, except for a power connection, they were entirely self-sufficient. I had put off siding replacement because I didn’t want to deal again with the hassle I had experienced with others on other home projects. There was none of that with this company. I am very pleased with the entire process and the results are excellent.

I am more than please with the craftsmanship & quality of the work done! On a scale of 1-10, I give them a 10+1=11. Whenever I had any questions about the work being done. It was always answered professionally and courtesy. Do yourself a favor...Hire them!

Very well. Very prompt response. There were other companies on Angie's List that I contacted that never even called me back.This is one of the best companies that I have ever done business with. The salesman (Jeff) came and gave us an estimate and was never pushy. He showed us samples, different colors, and explained to us our various options. I really liked that he explained how the soffit air channels would work. Also they have their own crew for the siding and the same gutter installer for all their jobs. A big plus to me. When we signed the contract a week later Jeff told us they would install in about 2 months but they were able to get to us in about 6 weeks. On the day of install the owner (Paul Rogers) came out with a crew of 3 and finished our siding job in about 4 hours. The 3 guys were here first and introduced themselves then Paul came about 10 minutes later. They also answered any questions or concerns that I had. They also cleaned up before they left. After about a week I called Paul about a concern that I had. On one place on the garage I thought the gap where the siding meets the brick was too big. Paul came out and looked at it and told me that the board that the trim was installed to wasn't exactly straight. But he came up with a solution and came back with a new piece of trim that addressed my concern. The gutter installers came out 2 days after the siding was finished and were done in a few hours. The last half hour in the rain! No more corner leaks. An excellent job. That's why I waited to write this review, just to make sure of no leaks during spring rains. We are very pleased with how the job, siding and trim, went from start to finish.

I couldn't be happier. These guys are the BEST. From the initial consultation with Jeff to the project completion- excellent customer service. The workmanship is exceptional with a great deal of attention to detail. The house looks totally transformed. In addition, the crew was very personable and frequently kept in contact with me about how the job was going. And they were also very tidy. I think this company definitely stands out above the others. Highly recommend. I don't think you will find any better.

Excellent, workers were friendly, and all ways asked if we had any questions, they kept .the work site clean always picking up old siding has it was be taken down, they cared about are dogs not getting any cuts in their paws, that means a lots to us.

I scheduled an appointment and given a date of about 8 weeks. They came in 2 weeks so they were 6 weeks early. They were Awesome. They never stopped. They have a full crew doing each and every phase of the work. They are extremely clean and organized. Their truck is so organized that they never have to go look for anything. Everything is in a certain place and perfect. Their work is top notch. The cleaned up perfectly when they were done. One of the very best companies I have ever worked with. EXCELLENT...........I was not put out at all throughout the whole process and it only took them 2 days...I 1/2 day for trim and 3 hours for gutters and they made them right on my driveway...

I did not have the work done YET by this company but I can tell you just by Jeff, the salesperson that I Know this will be a quality job. He was great and very accommodating. I did not have to ask him for the discount that you get for using Angie's List and I also got a discount for paying cash. I will write a review once the work is done in approx a month.

Sales man Jeff was professional, helpful and not pushy. Quality of work was excellent. We have gotten so many compliments on the job. Looks amazing. That being said I do feel there are some communication issues and lends to me feeling they are a bit unprofessional. We were asked to inspect the home upon completion and when we reported a few small issues I felt they were very defensive and didn't want to hear it. Ultimately they issues were resolved to our satisfaction.

Our home looks great! The A-1 crew is to be commended for their attention to detail and craftsmanship. When we compare the "before and after" photos the improvement is breathtaking. We have had numerous compliments from neighbors and people we have never even spoken to. The process was professional from our first meeting with Jeff, the A-1 sales representative, and his guidance to the final product. The A-1 crew were always happy to answer questions and give explanations that were spot on and much appreciated! I am not an easily pleased consumer and the A-1 Vinyl Siding Company have both met and exceeded my expectations. Again, a job very well done and I would highly recommend them for your home improvement needs!

I called Paul Rogers to obtain an estimate for installation of vinyl siding on my home in Cadillac, MI. I was not sure if the company provided services in our area since my home is 200 miles away from the company location, but I called anyway. Paul returned my call timely. Paul told me that they did not provide services in my area, but in my phone conversation with Paul I asked him several questions about how I could find a good company to install vinyl siding. Paul took the time with me on the phone explain to me that I should contact a company that sells vinyl siding in my area and they would be able to give me referrals for vinyl siding installers. Paul provided me with the name of a company that sells vinyl siding to call, as well, and that if I have any future questions as I go through the process of getting at least three bids and my understanding the specifics of the various bids, that I could call him and ask for his opinion related to my questions. I appreciate having the information provided to me in the phone call and the fact that Paul is willing to take the time to answer and provide his opinion on my project, even though he will not be handling my project here in Cadillac, MI.

Jeff, the salesman was very attentive to quotes and was extremely knowledgeable about the products. Jeff gave us a list of addresses where that they done previous jobs. We were able to see successful jobs. He was willing to work with us and they were competitive in their pricing. The workers were very professional and skilled. Every day they worked consistently and cleaned up at the end of the day. Craig kept us informed of their progress and when they would be working. He was an amazingly skilled craftsman with the metal trim work. The crew worked extremely well together and treated us respectfully. They worked efficiently and paid close attention to detail. We were well informed and knowledgeable about all aspects of the project. We always felt that all of the people in this company were working together and they were doing a quality job! We are very pleased with the outcome and have had many comments from friends and neighbors. The owner and salesman had assured us that they would do an excellent job and they were correct. It is rare to see a company that communicates and works so closely throughout all aspects of the job! A1 Vinyl Siding totally transformed my home, increased its curb appeal to the point I have people who drive by and stop to tell me how much they like what was done to the house. In fact, I have had three people ask me if I would consider selling my home. When I drive up to my house it is as if I have a new home! I am over the moon with how wonderful my home looks now. The new windows have eliminated the drafts I used to feel and I am not certain if my heating bills will be less than last year yet but I suspect based on what Paul and his team did to correct past flaws in the old window framing as well as the added insulation under the siding will reduce my utility bills. I highly recommend Paul and his team. I would hire them in a heartbeat to do work.

Went great. Initial consultation with Jeff was very informative, clear and thoroughly explained. Company offers 12 months same as cash financing which was great. The crew came out and took about 6 days working. Cleaned up each day. Paul kept me informed and was very responsive to any questions or emails. Very professional and did a great job. Would highly recommend. Price was fair. I got four quotes and they were right in the ballpark. The whole crew was timely, professional and very nice to work with.

Had A-1 out for a quote. Salesman Jeff wrote it up and we set-up an approximate date to start the job. Paul, the boss, came by and looked the house over to insure that everything was covered in the contract and that his crew would have everything they needed when they started the job. Since the weather was good and they hadn't experienced delays in other jobs, they called and said they were ready to go a little earlier than we figured and we set the actual date to start the job. The material showed up and was unloaded and ready when Paul and his crew arrived. They have a trailer that they drop on site with all of their tools and ladders, scaffolding, etc. These guys were great. Everyone knew their job and they got right to it. They did vinyl siding on the house, about 2300 square feet, brick lower, and T111 on the upper floor. Lots of trim and angles. It took 7 days with 3 men working all day to complete the siding. I was told that they do one job at a time and they absolutely did a beautiful job on our house. The day after the siding and trim was completed, another crew came in and installed the seamless gutters. The house looks like a new house. We called them a couple of days later because we didn't like the look of 2 small pieces of trim, which they did correctly but my wife asked if they could change it. Paul and his crew came out the next day and re-did those 2 small areas and everything looks great. This is a well trained crew. These guys have been working together a long time and really know their jobs. Nice bunch of guys, very polite and cleaned up daily. I've looked at a lot of vinyl siding jobs when we were deciding who to go with and saw a lot of houses hacked up with poor jobs. Jeff provided a list of a dozen jobs that they have done in our area and we checked some of them out and liked what we saw. I think that the bottom line is that you get what you pay for and we are very happy with their job.

The job went as well as anyone could hope for. Jeff the salesperson came at the arranged time. He explained all of the options available. Paul and his crew arrived right on time. They worked very efficiently and had a lot more accomplished on the first day than I expected. They were back the next morning and completed the siding and trim work. The next morning Doug and his son Dave also came and installed most of the gutters until they were interrupted by rain. They were back the next morning to finish the gutters and leaf guards. All of the workers were very professional, they also cleaned up very well when the job was completed.

Paul and his crew did an amazing full job, siding/gutters/roof, about a year ago for us. Recently one of our new drivers ran into the side of the garage moulding. Paul made a special trip out here and took care of this right away for us. It is great to find a company with top after sale service. Thank you Paul and the whole A-! team.

The work done was excellent. The job was finished in 3 1/2 days by 3 workers who were very highly skilled and displayed a very high attention to detail. They showed up punctually each morning and had the proper tools and materials to work consistently. I would highly recommend this company to anyone for work requiring siding. Before leaving for the day, they were very meticulous about cleaning up the materials and scrap that accumulated throughout the work day. The pricing seemed reasonable, especially for the quality of the work that was accomplished.

Went great! With minimal prodding, they walked me through the pros and cons of the various materials in enough detail for me to make a reasonable decision (I'm an engineer by day). They were a little vague about when we would get scheduled in (about 2-3 weeks), but around 3 weeks later I got a call that it'd be in 2 days so we had enough warning to make arrangements. Because the price was on the lower side, I was a bit concerned about how the quality would turn out; however, they did a fantastic job with everything. They did leave a power cable across the side of the house unmounted, but after I asked it turned out they thought that'd be easier for repainting the cable so it matches... True enough. Would've preferred a call, but it was the right decision. I'd go with them again without any other bid if they came back reasonable!
