West Shore Asphalt

We have used West Shore Asphalt for a number of years to put in a new asphalt driveway and to seal coat it from time to time. Nate and his crew are punctual, work hard, use quality materials, and live up to their original quote - no surprise upcharge at the end. Very pleased.

Nate and crew did a great job resurfacing a road they put in about 25 years ago. They leveled and then resurfaced the road in one day. The thickness of asphalt exceeded my expectations and it looks great. The price was also great!

I am the president of a Homeowners Assocation. We had a large project that consisted of redoing three storm drain covers in concrete and about 200 yards of asphalt road paving. We contacted several companies. West Shore Asphalt had the best bid. They did the work they said they would do, did the work on time, the road looks great, and all of the homeowners are happy with the work done.

Nate was quick to respond and got the job done as quoted. But not only that, They did more than I asked for. I asked for 12' drive and it ended up between 12 and 14' amid curves and where it met the existing cement. When I paid him, I said, " If I owe you more let me know." He said, "No, we're good." He also agreed to return in the spring to put on the top coat. Added expense to him I'm sure, but he made it sound like it was no big deal. All this and was very competitively priced. I would strongly recommend them.

I am not satisfied at all with the finished product the asphalt was laid down in the heavy rain and their are unsightly grooves throughout the finished product. And, I am left with job of trying to fix it. I only wish I was there when the asphalt was laid.

Did exactly as written quote. Left no debris and put yellow tape up so no one drove in while we were gone. Also recommended having it sealed each year so it will last.

Where the driveway connects to our street, there is about a 12 foot section that was asphalt from before, which we did not need to be replaced, and they knew that. But since it was old asphalt, it was faded (not dark). and they set all their stuff on it, and leaked oily asphalt stuff on the driveway and made dark spots on it. I used Greased Lightening, and then Dawn (generic) with hot water, and finally got most of it off, (but it is not like it was before). They could (should) have had their equipment OFF of my property. The work they did do was fine, though (4.0).

They did a beautiful job and were very concerned with getting everything just right. The whole job was done in one day and it has improved the entire look of our home even more than we had hoped for. Nate was professional and was very concerned about the finest details. Great Job!

Nate was responsive to a drainage problem I had by my garage driveway. He and his crew did a great job.

Asphalt team arrived on time as they said they would. The work was done as promised. Love the new look of my driveway and turnaround. Absolutely no complaints. I would recommend to everyone.

They did not have all the Equipment the needed for the job when they got to my house, but we work it out.
