+ -1 moreHe was thorough. His demeanor was it was his own business and he was happy with that. He dressed the way he wanted to and he did his own thing. It worked just fine for us.
Description of Work: He did the tuck pointing around the foundation of the house.

Description of Work: Mike assessed our chimney damage. The brick had crumbled and begun falling off onto roof due to age, a cracked chimney cap and severe snow and ice last winter. He removed loose, damaged brick, quickly lay new brick, framed and poured a new cap and silicone sealed any minor cracks and along roof flashing. He's quick, an energetic hard worker, and gets things handled.

+ -1 moreMason Mike showed up soon after I contacted him by telephone. He looked the job over and gave me a price, that I still have a hard time believing. He stated that he would return the next day and complete the project. The next day he came when he said he would. Brought all his equipment and repair product. Began the repair immediately and completed it without taking a break (even not taking one for lunch). As soon as he finished, he cleaned the area up and loaded his equipment back into his truck. All I can say about this repair experience, is that he did a fantastic job and I have a squirrel and rain free basement again. I wish more people had Mike's work ethic and honesty!! They don't come any better than him. As a side note, he was recommended to me by one of the owners of Ace Hardware in North Muskegon.
Description of Work: Removed a rusted out, old mid century coal chute. Once it was removed, he cleaned up the area around the chute and re-bricked the entire opening area. This may sound like an easy task, however the area could only be reached from the small chute area in the basement. The steel chute was mounted above a concrete chute that angled to a point about 3 feet above the basement floor. The outside area is no longer accessible, due to a large wooden deck that surrounds the side of the house. Working in the repair area was very small, recessed and difficult to view.
