They were very knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the process and gave me fair warning when the power would be off and the n back on. They were friendly and very attuned into what I would need to know. They also followed up afterwards to make sure I was happy with the work.

After trying to find an available electrician from numerous sources, I finally contacted John Belasco and explained my situation (damaged wiring and resultant inoperative air conditioning unit). Due to weather conditions (extremely warm temperatures in the 90's), John said he would try to have an electrician take a look at the situation as soon as possible.. At 9:00 the following morning, a Belasco electrician arrived at my residence, evaluated the situation and, within several hours, had the wiring repaired and the air conditioning up and running. The quick response to my problem, along with the professionalism displayed during the repair work is to be commended..

It took the electrician over 7 hours over two sessions to correct this problem. My husband did the necessary removal of drywall and will fix it afterwards. He wishes he would have done all the work himself. The final bill was over $700!

"Mary called us for having a power issue as we responded the same day. When the serviceman arrived to troubleshoot the issue, he identified the the home owner was hanging a curtain rod over the slider and drilled into a hidden wire behind the drywall. Our goal is to make repairs without damaging the home, so the electrician suggested installing a wall junction over the break. Once this was completed the power again was not restored? The serviceman again began troubleshooting the issue only to fine a hidden junction box burred behind the drywall and yet another cut in wire on the opposite side of the slider from the second mounting of the curtain rod. The electrician suggested that to save time and money to run exposed wiring (in raceway) to make good the connections. This was not acceptable, the owner was to remove the drywall and we returned to make the repairs within the wall (concealed). I had explained all of this to Tom (Husband) in an email."

It went perfectly. We were so impressed. Our repairman came out twice for different requests. Each time, he was there when he said he would be. He used foot covers and cleaned up after himself. The work was done quickly and professionally. When he made a suggestion for a change in our recessed lighting, it was through an email. He gave me all the information in a very timely way. We took his advice, and are so happy with the nice, bright, and nearly permanent solution. We have worked with several electricians in our area over the last couple of decades. Joe Ferski at Belasco is my highest recommendation. I will always call and ask for him for future needs. He is very knowledgeable and a diligent worker. He took time to listen to our concerns and he has exceeded our expectations. How wonderful it is to be so happy with a service like this! (it's so rare!!)

They are very professional and did a great job. They were on time, got right to work and finished the job in a couple of hours. I've used cheaper electricians in the past....none come close to Belasco. You might get a cheaper price but you will never get a better job anywhere. Trust me you get what you pay for.

It went well. Tech showed up on time. 8am. Listened to what the problem was and got right to work. After trying to locate the problem, even going back to his shop for another tool the might help locate the problem, we could still not find the problem. So the tech came up with a fix to get the outlets back on line and that is what we did.
At the end of all that and while he was there, I asked if he could finish installing a light I had started earlier. He was more than happy to help.

When I first discovered that outage, I was afraid I would not be able to find someone to fix it, since it was late on a Friday afternoon. Checking Angie's List, I noticed that Belasco Electric had emergency service and they were close, so I called and was told someone would be right over. It took only a few minutes for the technician to arrive and fix the problem. He was courteous and took time to show me the cause of the outage and how he fixed it, and did not talk down to me at all.

They were excellent. They were very accommodating because I couldn't work out at times for them to come out and do an estimate I was able to take a picture of what it is of the electrical box and they were able to determine the estimate based on the type of electrical system that was already there in place which was really helpful. Their price was fair.

I had a power surge that had blown the circuit box. He was able to save me a lot money by finding a part in Grand Rapids which is about an hour from house. He installed that box, so I would not have to replace the circuit box.

The electrician did an excellent job on all the work that he did. He was a young man and was very reliable. We kind of had an emergency situation as we had tore off the ceiling in our new family room and found that the electrical was a handyman type job done so we needed to have it replaced. Well it was in the middle of winter and it was pretty cold in there. He was able to come and do the work in about two days after our call to him. We trusted him so much that we let him do work in our home while we were not here. We just don't let anyone do that. His price was a little high but for the work that he did, it was worth it.
