It was fine. The office called to let us know that the electrician was available a little earlier than expected, and since we were available, that worked out fine for us. The electrician was just fine - installed the two outlets just as expected. Our only complaint would be that the service is a bit expensive. Even with the preferred customer service plan discount, it still feels like a lot! We do appreciate that Mr. Electric and Mr. Rooter honor each other's service plan discount, since we have needed to use both companies recently.

We were very pleased with this service. Brad was punctual, polite, and friendly. We had a problem with the light fixtures on the garage - the bulbs kept burning out within 24 hours and the motion sensors were not working correctly. He returned twice to fix them, the second time he was able to get them to work correctly by using rough service light bulbs instead (first try was CFL, second try was standard incandescent). The GFCI outlet and circuit breakers did not require any follow-up. We were also pleased that he was willing to give us quotes on a number of other projects that we hope to eventually get to, and did not put any pressure on us to do them sooner than we're ready. He also did a whole-house quick inspection and recommended a few easy things we could fix ourselves (for example, adding a radon detector on each floor). We also like that they have an answering service, so if we need to book an appointment, we can call whenever it's convenient for us (even on the weekends) and know that they will call us back first thing the next business day.

I made an appointment with someone that answered the telephone at the contact number named April. We had originally scheduled the service call for a date about two weeks out on July 28th, 2015. I was told that the service technician who was named Mr. O'Keefe would be doing the service. The day before the service was to be performed a voice mail message was left for me indicating that Mr. O'Keefe was "busy" and that we would have to re-schedule. I called back to inquire about the future date and was told that someone other than Mr. O'Keefe would show up to give me an estimate on performing the service. The next day, very promptly, two technicians did show up. The first guy's name was Jack and his assistant was named Art. I began to sense that the project would not be completed by them for some reason before they looked at what would be involved. They came over to my vehicle to see what it was that I would like to have performed on my vehicle and decided that they did not have experience in doing this type of work. They did tell me other things that they were used to doing that involved electrical work on a building and that they were available for that type of work.

Dos: He is very thorough in his work. Repalred two light fixtures, installed 2 ceiling fans Dimmer control swiitch, motor speed control switch for fireplace. Replaced two deck lights with new lights. Installed 4 junction boxes in garage that were not up to code. 2 Track lighting and 2 keyless lights in basement. Spent a total of nine hours working on lighting. Contractor thru Home Depot. Excellent!

I contacted this company to set up a time and date for some work. I used their e mail form, it's been 3 days and they have not responded. Stay away from these guys.
