Howling Hammer Builders had originally built our home 8 years ago and we had such a great time working with them that they were our first (and only) choice for the builders to take care of our basement remodel job. We had no idea what we wanted for sure, and Jo and Mike were extremely helpful in guiding us to figure out exactly how we wanted to use the space and the best ideas for getting it perfect. They had ideas we never would have thought of. They worked with us to develop a plan that would fit within our budget and they even came up with some creative solutions so we could get a lot more than we have ever hoped for. During the process, their guys were polite and careful to keep the disturbance to our lifestyle to a minimum. (They even helped out with a couple of other little repairs we needed to other areas of the house). Everything stayed on schedule. When the project was completed we ended up with a whole new entertaining area----kitchen/wet bar, large media area, game table area, gas fireplace, a private home office (which can serve as a guest room) new bathroom, and even a dry sauna...the whole thing is beautiful...and there was no stress to the project at all. When they finished up, they even presented us with an original painting Jo did for over the fireplace mantle----WOW...we loved working with Jo and Mike and would recommend them to anybody!

My wife and I are building a large addition to our home. Based on a recommendation from our mortgage officer at Isabella Bank & Trust, I tried to contact Howling Hammer. I emailed twice and then when I received no response, called and left two voice-mail messages. These also received no response at all. How hard is it to return a phone call??!!!!
