Description of Work: We have a bathroom, including a Jacuzzi, in the basement of our home. On Thursday, June 11, 2009, neither the toilet nor bathtub would drain. Plunging the toilet did no good. I called Heaney Plumbing and Heating in St. Clair Shores and base dispatched a plumber within an hour. Harvey traced down the problem to a plugged transverse line from the bathroom fixtures to the waste line that leads from our bathroom fixtures to the main clean out which leads from our house to the interceptor under the street. The water was draining just fine through the clean out in the front of the basement. He then lifted the toilet and power augured out the plugged line and reseated the toilet, wax ring and all. He even gave us a hint about pouring boiling water down the face bowl and bathtub drains on a monthly basis in order to prevent future such occurrences. When he left, the system was in good working order and his work area was clean. Harvey was polite and good natured throughout the entire procedure.
