We tore out and replaced Mr. and Mrs. [Members Name] driveway in June of 2014. While tearing out there old driveway near there rear enclosed porch, we found that support pier holding the rear porch had deteriorated over the years. We informed the [Members Name] about this issue. They asked us if we could fix this and we told them no because our insurances does not cover us to do structural work. So we finished tearing out and replacing driveway. Fast forward to this current year, we call get a call from the [Members Name] concerning some crack issues in there driveway after the winter. We came out and took at look at the problems and told them we would fix it because we do stand by our work and guarantee. This was in March of 15, the weather was still unpredictable and there was still frost in the ground. We wanted to wait until better weather to address this issue. Once the weather broke and everything was back in full swing we did get a couple calls from the [Members Name] concerning this issue. We apologize for not contacting them sooner regarding this issue. Then a few weeks a go we recive this review . Yes they did hire another company to fix there pier on there porch that we could not fix cause our insurance does not cover us on that type of work. The company they did hire is unlicensed with the State of Michigan, uninsured , and did not obtain the proper permits from the city to perform this work. We have seen the pier , and it was not fixed properly because now the have bigger problems because the work was not performed correctly and was not a cause of our workmanship. One of the cracks they where concerned with was caused by a improperly installed wood steps . This small crack and the other one they where concerned with , has been replaced to their satisfaction. We strive to make our customers happy and address there concerns in a timely fashion, but with a full schedule of work, seven days a week , somethings do get overlooked and for that we do apologize. We have hundreds upon hundreds of happy customers, and the other customer the Coffins mention in this review has other issues in there life that make our interactions with them very unpleasant. Once these issuses are under control , we would love to fix there minor draining issue for them.
