Steve's Lock & Safe

Steve's service was exceptional in every way! After having my home broken into I was very anxious to get deadbolts installed where we didn't have them. Steve made time in his schedule to come out the same day and did a great job! He is professional and personable and all around a pleasure. I wish I could hire him for all of my home projects!

We just purchased a new home in Tecumseh. When the local locksmith cancelled on us, we contacted Steve's Lock and Safe to re-key the four locks on our new house. I was unable to go, so my wife met Steve at the house. While I don't often give five star reviews, Steve is very deserving. First, his prices were reasonable (200.00 for everything--four locks re-keyed including two that had no existing keys, eight keys, two hours of work), Second, he has been doing this work for over 40 years and his knowledge is expert. Third, while some mechanic and machine people treat women differently than men--Steve treated my wife with the utmost respect. Fourth, Steve went above and beyond--showing my wife the proper way to lubricate the locks, making a safety lock for the sunroom entry door, and lubricating and cleaning out the second door on the double front entry door at no extra charge. Fifth, he made time to come out on two days notice. Finally, he kept his word on his pricing even though he spent more time than anticipated. Steve and his company have my highest recommendation.

I worked with Steve in the past and he has been great. I had him rekey 3 doors as well as 2 storm doors. He was on time and did the work quickly. He informed me that the two storm doors werent aligned correctly due to previous owner's self installation and suggested how to fix the issues. He also was flexible to work around other contractors work and informed me of things to do in the future.
