As always, James' workmanship was outstanding. This work is indicative of his broad range of skills. One day he was mixing mortar to install glass blocks in place of my original basement windows and the next day he was up on my garage roof installing a ridge vent.

I've hired James for several projects in the past and each time he has exceeded my expectations. And this time, no surprise, he exceeded my expectations again. Not only is my new door beautiful and expertly installed, but I have my new door much earlier than I originally planned. My plan was to purchase the door on my own which was going to take a month to receive. James worked with his supplier and I had a door the next day. The new door is also a higher quality door than the one I was going to purchase.

As a female who was feeling very nervous about taking on this kind of a project, James made it very easy. It did take a while from the time we signed the commitment to the start of the project, but I was aware of that. James kept me posted with an earlier start date (was able to begin a week earlier than planned) and even finished earlier than expected. Throughout the process, he worked through lunch, never noticed him taking breaks and stayed late as needed to completed the tasks for that day. I was very surprised at how they did their best to clean up after themselves each day, even with a little mess in the basement, just beneath the one bathroom. James not only listened to me with what my wishes were, but he remained patient in explaining things to me. My project did go over budget, but that was on me with the materials I chose. Having been through previous DIY projects in the past, I was completely satisfied with James' attention to detail, as he seemed to take great pride in his work. Finally, I had one minor issue with a running toilet and James was very prompt not only with getting back to me, but coming back to fix it.

Very professional and great work. Finished ahead of time. I told him to go ahead and pick out the tile for the floor since I was dealing with other serious issues and he picked out the perfect tile. Price was very less than I anticipated it would be. Cleaned up completely every day. Highly recommended!

The work was high quality, they cleaned up every day before leaving, talked to us every day to let us know what was completed and what to expect the next day. Completed the project in one week. we are very pleased with the results of our bathroom remodels and have already set up plans for our next project with him.

Things went very well. James was able to start a week earlier then originally planned. He was there everyday until he finished the job. He was nice to talk with and handled any add ons or changes . I would recommend him .

James and his assistant were prompt, efficient, professional and effective in their work. From initial contact to completion of the job was less than 5 business days. They were able to work around my schedule, complete the work as promised, maintained an excellent electronic record and processed payment quickly.

We have continued to appreciate James's candid and honest assessments of various re-modeling options we've considered, their costs, and their relative benefits in both the short and long term. He appears organized, methodical, and doesn't seem to make promises he can't keep (I think he also appreciates the same from his customers). He appears to exercise general care in choosing people to work for him and has spent a good deal of time on-site for each of our projects. It's likely rare that his work has been questioned. He may not be your lowest bid, but he's a solid one.

The company is aptly named, as they did truly superior work. Mr. Scherzer was accurate with the estimate and performed the work very quickly and with precision. The job, which was expanding and remodeling a powder room, took less than six work days. From tearout to finish work all was well done and daily cleanup was outstanding. We had tile installation, conversion to a pocket door, expansion of the powder room and an adjacent closet, granite installation and installation of new fixtures. They also moved plumbing lines that were installed in a concrete slab, cutting the slab and refilling the trench with concrete. The only work subcontracted was the manufacture and install of the granite. The three men were courteous, helpful and provided guidance when we weren't exactly sure how to proceed in the best way. I would highly recommend Superior Carpentry. They are very busy, however, and do not subcontract so plan to book several months in advance and be prepared to put down about half when booking the job.

Both services were done excellently. Both times we were given a quote upfront and any questions we had were answered promptly. Both jobs were done on time and with excellent professionalism. We highly recommend Superior Carpentry!

Not so good, never did anything for me. Quoted the job, I thought it was a little high. Then the job never happened because he told me he was booked up until late October and I could not wait that long. Right at the gate I would say a B but then it fizzled out and I had to find someone else so a D. At least he was honest about being booked up until October. I thought the price was high but then I looked at the website and if his work is 3/4 as good as it shows then we would be ok.

James was very professional. All work was completed as promised. He was thorough and timely not with h work. Once he was done the entry way looked great and cleaned up. The finished working right is great and we are very pleased.

I was given a date when work would begin and an arrival time. Owner, James Scherzer arrived with two other men, on time and commenced work. They had to remove one layer of subfloor and old baseboards. Walls also needed some prep prior to new installation. Men agreed to move several large pieces of furniture out to my garage. Top subfloor and baseboards removed first day. Work continued for the next two and a half days, equipment set up outside, cutting hardwood boards and then installation began. Men arrived on time equipment put away at day's end and space left tidy. New baseboards installed, plus baseshoe, and then caulked. Work completed on 4th day as estimated. I found them to be very professional, obviously knew what they were doing and were good at it. I'm very pleased with my new floor. Owner returned several days later to move the two large pieces of furniture to room. I would definitely hire this business again and am pleased with the overall workmanship.

James was great to work with. Getting in touch with him was easy (phone, email, & text) and he was always quick to respond. He was prompt in getting the work completed, and the job was EXCELLENT! I am so happy with the job done.

provider did a fantastic job from the demo work on the floor in order to install pex water lines and waste piping. Installed a nice custom toilet and sink basin with faucet. also completely painted the walls and installed all the trim. wired up lighting and installed a beautiful plate mirror over the sink. All totaled he was only on sight a little over 2 days and weended up with a fantastic new bathroom. thank you so much for all the nice work
