I wanted a back door cut into my house where none existed before, so I went to Angie’s list and really studied who could do it for a reasonable price and a good job. I came across Superior Carpentry and read all the reviews, there were probably 100 or more and I only found one so so review, the rest of them were A+ and they couldn’t say enough about what a good company that is. James owns the company and believes in doing quality work no matter what kind of job he takes on. He is extremely punctual, thorough, and takes pride in doing the best job he can do. He listens to everything the homeowner has to say and takes into account the smallest detail. He said my job would probably take two days and he was done in one day. I am so impressed with this company and this owner that I can’t say enough good about the job that he has done for me. He certainly is very reasonable for what he does and he cleans up everything after he is done. I will not hesitate to have him working with me again and I will not hesitate to tell people how good this company is...I give this company a 10 which equals an A+!

Superior Carpentry made our bathroom remodel a dream come true. They were ALWAYS on time, organized, trustworthy, skilled, professional, hard-working, knowledgeable and certainly a good listener. We’ve never had a contractor impress us more. He worked on our home like it was his own. He was a great communicator and would check in often with questions and concerns. He would often say, “If you’re happy, I’m happy.” We couldn’t recommend him more!! He’s worth the wait....

It was fabulous, great attention to detail, we e-mailed back and forward to remodel our entire kitchen. It turned out better than we expected. James has an eye for details and really impressed us.

They came out the day they said they would to look over my roof and get me an estimate. Their estimate was very competitive and thoroughly written. I was very impressed with the professionalism, price and punctuality of James and Dave. They knew their stuff and completed my roof much faster than I thought it could have been done. They were so clean and took extra care of bushes/flowers and clean up. I recommend them to “ANYONE” looking to have a beautiful roof install correctly, at an excellent price and quickly. The best company I have ever done business with. I’ll definitely be calling them back to do more on my house. As a matter of fact I already rehires them to replace my front door as well. James and David came out and quoted my roof. They were very informative and very professional. The whole project went great and within budget. They even found a couple of issues with my soffit where it met the roof and they repaired it at no cost. James removed tub and tile down to the studs, Also old flooring. He and his workers kept dust to a minimum and cleaned up each day. Installed shower pan and tiled shower. Installed wainscoting on walls, changed plumbing to different wall, installed sink and vanity. Installed fan, light, and mirror. Installed new flooring. Installed shower door. Reversed swing of door. So he did plumbing, electrical, tiling, flooring, and carpentry. All done on budget and on time.

Jim and the guys were amazing. They were on-time every day, courteous while there, and cleaned up every day when they left. The job was finished a day ahead of schedule even with a couple of wrenches thrown in the way. Things turned out amazing in the end and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

James did an excellent job of rebuilding our deck. The previous deck was large and falling apart. It also included a hot tub that we wanted removed so it was no simple job. James and his crew were professional, on time, and did an excellent job of rebuilding the deck and removing the hot tub. Prices were fair and a good value considering the attention to detail and quality of work. The crew did not leave a mess behind and were considerate of our home and yard. Have used Superior Carpentry for past jobs including a new front door and replacement of countertops. I highly recommend Superior Carpentry.

James has completed numerous projects for me and each time he has exceeded my expectations. And now he's done it again. I couldn't be happier with the addition of my 3-season room. In the beginning, all I knew was that I wanted a room off of the back of my house that I could use most of the year. James designed it to fit in seamlessly with my house while providing the functionality I desired. The quality of his construction is outstanding and the finish details, in terms of the trim, etc. have resulted in a beautiful room that my family and I will enjoy for years. Thank you James!!

James is very professional and communicated with us well. His prices are fair and we are very pleased with both the porch and windows.

This is the second time we have hired James he did our bathroom last year and he did such a great job we hired him to do our kitchen he does an amazing job cleans up everyday before leaving always on time so easy to work with did not get upset when I made changes even came in on a Saturday so that he would stay on schedule. You will have to wait for him he is very busy but well worth the wait.

It went great. Only contractor I've ever had that showed up early or on time every day. Finished it a day early. Great attention to detail. Would definitely hire again.

Our bathroom project went extremely well. This was a total gut job from floor to ceiling. New installation included ceramic tile on the floor and shower walls along with a new double sink vanity and a quartz top. We also had James install a new linen cabinet for added storage in the bathroom. In summary, we couldn't be happier!

We are beyond pleased. James was timely in scheduling, conducting and providing the quote. He was thorough and listened to our ideas but also offered realistic suggestions. James books up fast, but he is completely worth the wait. He is meticulous with his work, professional, respectful, on time, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. We received several quotes and James was significantly lower ($5000-6000 less) which may deter some but don’t let it! He books up fast for a reason. We are still amazed at the quality of work for the price compared to our other quotes because we never thought we would end up finding someone within our budget. We also appreciated James ability to quickly adjust to surprises behind the walls. While we had to alter a few minor things, we still got the look we were going for. We highly recommend Superior Carpentry and are already quoting our next project!

James installed a new Andersen patio door for us. My wife and I picked out the door style, color and hardware. James came out to our house to measure the opening (it's a custom door) then ordered the door from his supplier. Shortly after the door arrived, he installed it. The result is fantastic! I've said it before, but it's worth repeating, his workmanship is of the highest quality!!

This project went extremely well. Installation was 1st class, clean up was done each day, workers were courteous, and very capable. Arrived each day promptly and worked continuously until project was finished. This work was estimated to take 3 weeks and was completed 4 days early. The estimate was provided quickly and revisions and questions were answered promptly. We would confidently recommend this contractor to anyone needed work done.

I was very pleased with the professionalism and promptness. usually contractors hardly ever show up on time. I was told 8 a.m. and he was there at 8 a.m. the whole job went very smoothly and the clean up was amazing.

James did an exceptional job came it 5 days under the projected time frame. He is very flexible and willing to work with you. We have asked him to do our kitchen. The only draw back he is so good that everyone wants him and he is booked out a ways but well worth the wait.
