house cleaning
+ -1 moreI specifically asked for my shower and my kitchen floor to be cleaned every visit (every other week). Not that crazy of a request since they are a cleaning service. Attached is a picture of a piece of paper towel that I wiped my kitchen floor with right after they "cleaned" my house. Doesn't look clean does it? This cleaning follows a call into the manager about my shower (photo also attached). After several cleanings I looked at my shower and was like there is no way they are cleaing in here (the mold growing was the dead give away). So I left them a note. The reply was "yes we are wiping down your shower every visit, but we are not allowed to use anything". What? How can you clean a shower and not use anything. So I called the office and the manager said that is not true, that they do use a bathroom cleaner and a brush. I said "well they aren't in my shower". So after paying $161 I had to clean my own shower. There's nothing worse than the feeling of being ripped off. Avoid the feeling. I do not recommend "The Molly's of Metamora"!! Also...trust Angie's List!! They didn't have a good rating, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

house cleaning
+ -1 morearrived on time always. very professional. same cleaners. wanted cleaning done on fridays, but they could only do mondays.
Description of Work: $100 bi-weekly. cleaned the house first time as a deep cleaning. did prety good job, but cost $300. then had come out bi-weekly for $100. They won't do anything that involves cleaning above their heads. so nothing up high done like fans or top of fridge. bathrooms were ok. Im a perfectionist- and it was not done to my standards. everything was wiped down, but just not clean clean.

+ -1 moreThey had 3 cleaning ladies that came in to clean. After they were done and gone, I noticed that window sills in kitchen, and 2 of the bedrooms were still dusty with dead bugs. Also, picture frames in bedrooms, hallway, bathroom were still dusty. The top of my refridgerator was still dusty. I instructed them to clean my laundry room, however the floor was still dusty with dead bugs. I hired them to clean my home because I don't have the time.I am entirely disappointed in their service. I thought they should have done a much better job. I will not pay to use their service again and I do not recommend them.
Description of Work: They vacuumed, swept and mopped some floors. They wiped down baseboards.
