Locke's Landscaping & Brick Paving

Chris and his team were very professional from the first time I met him. He was always on time, did what he said he would do, and worked with us on the design and installation of our backyard makeover. Chris did much of the work last fall, right after Thanksgiving. He came back in the early spring to complete the job. We had some concerns about the stone wall and he addressed them immediately. The finished project looks great and we are very happy with the way it turned out. I highly recommend Locke's Landscaping.

They were very good. They gave a good bid and they were fine. They came out pretty quick and gave me a bid on time. But I went with somebody else who were more structured and had more information.

Chris was great to deal with; very professional and knows his business. He and his crew were always on time and polite. The project start date had to be delayed because we had to wait on HOA approval for the project. Once the project commenced, it took his crew about solid 3 weeks to get all of the brick work and landscaping done. He then returned a few weeks later to install the fence after I had the irrigation and sod installed. We could not be more pleased with his work. I would definitely use him again if the need arises.

Locke's communication throughout; beginning with out first initial call to ask them to come out and give us a quote, to the end of the physical work, was exceptional. Extremely informative in how to assist us in design, and a drawing was provided as to how the finished product would look. Locke's arrived as promised within the estimated date and time they said they would. We initially wrote a check to Locke's with a very minimum down payment. They arrived, introduced themselves, and immediately went to work. The work and finished product was well received by my wife and I. Great clean up and debris removal too !! I was put on the list and was told that they were booking about 6 to 8 weeks in advance. As it turned out they fit my one-day job in between two other jobs (about 4-5 weeks). There were five young men and the owner Chris Locke. It looks great and they took care of the area after they were done (clean up, etc.).

He was really nice. He got back to me in a very short time. He sent sketches and everything through e-mail. He was very thorough and I really appreciated that. I think his price was reasonable.

Project went smoothly from start to finish. Only issue was the stone slab at top of steps continues fragmenting and fracturing off top "layers" of stone everywhere. Chris promised to exchange that slab with a leftover slab in the spring.

The work was done professionally. It was splendid.

Chris came out and met with us to discuss our landscaping project. He reviewed our plan, gathered the requirements and later provided a written estimate for the labor and materials. We had a short time frame because of weather concerns this late in the year. Chris worked over the weekend to determine the cost and availability of the plantings and provide an estimate. We ended up going with another company based on a lower price, however, Chris was very professional and we would not hesitate to call him for a future project.

Professional experience from start to finish. excellent design work, competitive quote. The crew was on-time and worked hard for many days to complete the job. Work was well done and overall job was perfect. Definitely recommend!

Had 22' x 21' brick paver patio installed. Looked fantastic. Some bricks were cracked in final tamping, they came right out when we called and replaced them. You could not tell the bricks that were removed and replaced. Very good job. Very good crew, took less than two days to complete. Would use them for any landscaping or hardscaping project.

They did an excellent job fixing our paver patio and adding a 10x10 addition. Redid the whole walkway and releveled the whole elevated patio. Very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Quality of work was excellent. Would highly recommend them over lowes or home depot.

They did an outstanding job. We used them because of their recommendations on Angie's List.

Work was performed within the expected time frame.

I contacted Chris Locke in mid-April 2012 regarding this project and corresponded with him via phone and email over the following two weeks to finalize the details and sign off on the quote. His quote was in the middle of the range of estimates I received. The project was completed over two days, June 26 and 27. Chris and his four-man crew were extremely hard working, courteous and neat, and the workmanship was first class in all respects. I would not hesitate to use him again.

We did not have the full landscape plantings done because our budget ran out. We have to save that task for a later time. However, I did want to let others know what a pleasant experience I had working with Chris Locke. He was responsive to phone calls and emails -- very easy to work with (extremely likeable) and very conscientious. He handled the installation of our sprinkler system by Wilcox and came through for us by getting them to install it quickly. And the landscape design he worked up for us clearly demonstrated that he listened to our ideas and requirements. Anyone contacting him for a consultation will not be disappointed.

Chirs was quick to respond, 10days-2 weeks later came with drawings and an estimate. Gave us a date for install ( approx 4 weeks out)Was a week late on his date for installation- he did not call me- I called him to find out what the new date was. crew then showed up 2 days early- with an hours notice ( which was not a problem) Chris arrived a couple of hours after they started working- I had to question their process as it was opposite of what Chris suggested- they were quick to call him and gain clarification. Crew was pleasant enough but honestly a couple of the guys made me uneasy. Chris changed one set of plants from his drawing, but was amenable to changing them out. Job was complete in 24 hours and looks wonderful. One shrub short of perfect which he is correcting.

He was great. I found him on Angie's List. He was on time. He worked quickly. He cleaned up after himself. I was very happy with his work. He never skipped a day. He worked really well.

Got 4 estimates for the same work to be completed and they came in twice the price of the next highest bidder...

Exceeded expectations in all categories from the initial quote to the completion of the job. Quality work at a competitive price.

I got them of Angie’s List. He did a really good and super job. I was really pleased with what he did. He came here and gave me his estimates and after we went through it he did everything. They were timely and did not take a long time. They completed the work within a day and a half. I would use them again in the future.

Locke's Landscaping was always prompt with every meeting including starting and completing the project. At any time there was a question, they always made sure we were consulted and together we determined what to do or not do. The landscaping looked fabulous when they were done but they didn't water the plants before they left and we had left for the weekend (they knew this). When we came back many of the plants were quite wilted but after much watering they looked better. The true test will be in the spring when the plants come back to life.

wonderful.....Met with owner....he started job when promised....finished before he said it would be completed.

Didn't end up hiring them, but they came close to the company i did hire in terms of competitive pricing, but they weren't available to start the job for 3-5 weeks, whereas the other company was able to start right away. My experience with them quoting the job was positive and professional, and I would consider them again in the future.
