From start to finish the experience with Locke's Landscaping and Brick Paving was fantastic! This company brought our (2 years in the making) vision to life creating a 1200+ sqft custom outdoor living space...on time and on budget! I give Locke's Landscaping my highest recommendation. Chris was very responsive in getting back to me with a quote and mock-up drawing. He worked with me until we had a plan that we were happy with. He was reasonable on cost and worked us into the schedule quickly. The team showed up and completed the job promptly within one day. My only negative comment is because of how hot and dry this summer has been the bobcat they used tore up our yard quite a bit and we now have to wait for new grass to come in. Other than that we were very satisfied with the end result of our retaining wall landscape bed.

Called Chris a year ago for an estimate. He promptly came over and gave us one. I tried to get several other landscapers to provide an estimate (to include the original landscaper) but no one would even return my call or when they promised an estimate never gave me one. Finally, I asked Locke Landscaping to do the job as soon as practical this spring and he called me back right away and got on his schedule. He promised early May and the team came out on or about 5 May as promised. The team brought a small earth mover and rebuilt the seawall using the existing rocks and fresh dirt. Team did a great job building the wall up so that it would last longer and not cave in. There was some damage to the yard due to the earth mover, but the team was pretty careful to minimize the damage. Once the earth mover completed the job the team put fresh dirt and seed on the yard to repair the damage. Overall, the yard looks fine now. Team did an excellent job and completed the entire job in two days. Chris then followed up to make sure I was satisfied with everything before sending the final bill. The bill reflected the estimate completely. I will definitely use Locke Landscaping again, and will recommend to my friends. Again, I want to emphasize that Chris actually cares about customer satisfaction and was the ONLY contractor to return my phone calls or emails! He answered promptly like he wants to do business. This is a professional company. I highly recommend.

We had a French Drain System installed to resolve a problem with standing water in our backyard. Our brick walkway and front step were relaid with edge restraint and polymeric jointing sand. They also cleaned all our beds, trimmed the shrubs, and applied mulch. We are VERY pleased with the work completed!!! The crew worked hard, did a wonderful job, and cleaned up beautifully! They were also very pleasant, personable, and helpful. We would definitely use Locke's Landscaping again.

Showed up on scheduled date at 10:30am and worked until 6:30pm finishing the job in one day. Work quality was excellent and the front house look was transformed into something we can now be proud of.

Chris from Locke's was very responsive to my request which I had originally asked for last year but did not have done until this spring. He came out and re-reviewed the work and estimate and did this very quickly from the time I requested it. The work was done in one day and it looked amazing! I was ready to plant my flowers and tree! So nice to have responsive and quality people doing the work. The only negative thing I would say is that I did not get a lot of lead time in when they were coming to do the work. I was notified the day before. I understand this may be a challenge in this industry though.

Everything went as scheduled and planned. Everything was on time and done according to the plans that were provided in advance. High quality work.

The wall is beautiful and the lawn looks great! Very good workers who were prompt and hard working and polite.

Chris and his team were wonderful to work with. We got the initial quote in April and due to a few conflicts, had the work done in September. The scope of work changed dramatically from that first conversation through the day of install, and Chris remained flexible and open to our changes. The work was done quickly and efficiently with very little hands on time required from me -- a plus when working full time. Bonus: He was able to come out on weekends to provide quotes. Have already recommended his services to others and will be using him again if we get the chance.

They installed pavers by the pool and helped assemble the gazebo which was the purpose of those pavers. We needed that part of the landscaping plan done for a party and Chris made a special trip to accommodate our request. Our backyard is about 3/4 acre so there is a lot of fence line. Our goal was to eliminate the need to week whack so they cut the sod along the fence line and filled it with mulch. We needed more privacy from the house next door so Chris's team planted 5 spruce trees along that part of the fence. There were pavers installed around the fire pit and around all of the pool equipment. They cleaned up the overgrown beds around the shed and installed new beds along the house and around some of the existing trees. The did a beautiful job. They were on time, every time, and communicated with us when they said they would. They kept the job site clean and did an excellent job with the final clean up. Our original plan included more work to be done along the back fence line and the front yard but we decided to have this done in stages. Chris was very receptive and he provided us with his recommendations on what could wait until next spring. We would highly recommend Locke's Landscaping and we look forward to working with them again in the spring.

Removal of old wall and install of new went very smooth. Locke worked with my concrete contractor directly and delivered on exactly what was promised. The site was cleaned up and looked great after they were finished.

We couldn't be happier with the job that Chris and his crew did. The existing landscaping was a disaster...a leftover mess from the builder more than 13 years ago. They took out an old, crooked retaining wall and uneven cement sidewalks. Even removed yards of stone from the flower beds. Not to mention the old overgrown shrubs and dead trees. To me, it was a HUGE job, but they made it look easy. The brick pavers and retaining wall that Locke's installed look fabulous. I had very few ideas in my head of what we wanted or what would look good and Chris used his expertise to make it come to life...above and beyond what I could have imagined. His crew worked long days and addressed any questions or concerns that we had along the way. We would recommend Locke's Landscaping and would hire them again in a minute. Locke's team showed up as promised. They completed the process in two weeks. Throughout the process his staff remained pleasant and professional. The work environment was kept as clean as possible given the work completed and his staff made sure that the project was cleaned up nightly to minimize my family's disruption to lake use. All aspects of the job were completed as promised and billed as bid. I plan to have Locke's Landscaping handle another project I need completed next spring.

We have been working with Locke's Landscaping for the past 5 years. They have handled all of our outdoor needs. Over the past 5 years they have installed a 900 sq. ft. brick patio outdoor living area including a fireplace and built in grill. They have cleared a beach on our lake and brought in 90 yards of sand to make the perfect backyard swimming area. They have planted all the trees and plants in our yard and annually trim them and add mulch. They have always given us a fair price and if they didn't use all the materials they have refunded the difference to us. They have always been very prompt and responsive and we will continue to use them.

had to wait until mid summer for job to start cleaning pond & redoing plants around pond was not done very well-2 weeks after job "completed" algae & weeds around pond emerged. Tree that was planted was not staked well -we had to stake it our self when it started to tip. Replanted ornamental grass did not come back (probably not kept moist when transplanted) Attitude was "I didn't expect this much work" after job started

Chris' was the first and only company to call back within 24 hours and I called at least four other companies. We had estimates in late spring and we knew with the long winter there would be some wait time to have it installed. Chris was right on time with the quote very open to ideas on design and ways to save some money. Work began exactly when he said it would and was done in two days. The work crew was very courteous and they did an amazing job of cleaning up when they were done for the day. The end result is fantastic and we didn't want the summer to end as we enjoyed our new patio so much! An added bonus at no charge was they put grass seed in all of the "bald spots" around the perimeter of the patio and other areas of our backyard. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend Chris to everyone.

Chris and his crew were great. Their pricing was reasonable and they showed up on time and gave me more than I expected. The quality of their work was excellent. I will call them again when I need more work.

Locke's was awesome. I think they were reasonably priced but the project was more expensive than I thought. For a landscaping company, I thought they were insanely detailed and clean. They moved dirt around but at the end of the day, they cleaned the job. They were hard working. Chris, the owner of the company is a good communicator. Usually, if you're really good with our hands, you're not really good at communicating with paperwork. It's a rare occurrence when you have both of those in one person. It's nice because it's a small one-man band. He's able to be on the job the whole day and communicate via emails and he was able to go back and forth with the sketches for several months. It was shocking.

I liked them. It was a harsh winter and some of the plants died and had some difficulty replacing some of the plants.

Started and finished on schedule. Did a few extras without additional cost. Pleasant to work with.

They did a fine job. I give them 4 or 5 stars. They were cost effective and easy to work with. They did exactly what we asked them to do. I would use them again. Their price was competitive. It was a very good experience.

Were impressed by his attention to detail and responsiveness to our ideas. We signed a purchase agreement. His schedule is quite full so we won't have the job done for about a month.
