When he came to do the sidewalk, he never nailed the 2x4's together or had steaks to keep them from moving. He didn't even have a trowel. I measured it the next day, and because the 2x4's weren't anchored the measurements varied from 38 1/2 inches to 51 1/2 (it was suppose to be 48 inches)! He came back about a week later to do the driveway, but I told him that I was not happy with the sidewalk and did not want him to do the driveway. He said, "Well, you don't live in a million dollar house!" I said I would let him keep money for the cost of the concrete for the sidewalk, but I wanted my money back for what I paid him to go toward the driveway work. He said he would go to the bank and get me my money, but he never came back! I took him to small claims court, and he didn't show. The judge awarded me $2,112, but he has not surfaced to pay me.
Description of Work: I hired him to first do a sidewalk job and then he was to come again to do the driveway.
