Description of Work: Called and left three messages to get advice / estimate on several tress to be sprayed or looked at . They were referred to me as someone who could give advice and do the work. Never heard anything back. Not a call that their to busy not we'll get to you when we can nothing. They must not need the work. Unfortunately times like that don't last. Not a good way to run a business.

+ -1 moreMarc immediately knew what was wrong with my Norway Maple (I had mistakenly believed was a Silver Maple) and was a fountain of information about that tree as well as several others on my property. My understanding was that I would be referred to a trimming service company that would trim the diseased portion of my tree with his instruction. I thoroughly enjoyed my informative conversation with Marc but did not receive an invoice for his services nor referral to a tree trimming service. Unfortunately since then the tree was thrashed by a wind storm and suffered significant damage now needing attention.
Description of Work: Dropped by my home after I had given him my address, phoned with his assessment but did not follow through with referral to a service company.

+ -1 moreExcellent job; we've worked with him for the past six years, and have never had a question about his advice. He comes when scheduled, inspects the trees, and gives us advice on caring for the trees or removing them. We have several very old trees quite close to the house, and his recommendations have saved us from any damage to the house. He also does trimming, although we haven't hired him for that--just his advice.
Description of Work: Marc Halvorsen is a certified arborist whom we consult about the health of our trees in our urban yard. He comes every two or three years, and checks on the trees, recommending trimming or removal. He came today, and will probably save us some serious damage in the next storm.
