Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling

Everything was completed on time and well done. Jerry Rehm, the contractor was very helpful and stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. Some of the services were provided by the contractor and others services were completed by individuals hired by the contractor.

It started out well with Marty (one of the General Foreman of the Job), As time progressed the hearting and air conditioning guy was absolutely terrible, we requested that they get a new one and they refused to do it. Then Marty was injured and Jerry took over for his position. The Drywaller did a terrible job on our ceilings and Jerry told us that it was good enough. The paint and stain guy was constantly complaining that he was not being paid enough and that it was too much work, he had to restain our woodwork because he kept having runs in it, it still isn't a very good job but it was good enough for Jerry. We also requested a fan in the kitchen to be vented outdoors on several occasions but it was not done, but our biggest issue is that our duct work on our furnace continues to make loud noises, shortly after our job was completed they quit using that Heating and Cooling guy, they have had 2 other companies try and fix it with no progress both commenting on how poorly the workmanship was completed. We called in another HVAC person that gave us an evalution and his response was that he didn't even think it would pass State Building Codes, Paul Davis is is refusing to help us. Beware they obviousely hire the cheapest sub contractors that they can find.

I think very highly of them. They were wonderful all the way through. They were very professional and they were timely. I can't say enough good things about them. Insurance covered it all. I would highly recommend them to anybody. We pretty much worked with all of their people. One of them was injured during the middle of our job. He was injured badly and hospitalized. He wasn’t able to finish the job at all. The other one just stepped in and just took over. They missed just one day work during all of that time. I was very impressed. We were really afraid that it would put us a couple of months behind when it actually happened. We were trying to get back in because we were living on our trailer. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. If something ever happens I would go back to them.

Woke up one morning after unusually hard rain to discover my drywall ceiling was hanging down due to water damage. I immediately called my insurance agent, and my next call was to Paul Davis Restoration. I spoke with one of their project managers about what had happened and arranged for him to come see the damage. He promptly submitted an estimate to our insurance company. Unfortunately our insurance company had a deluge of claims due to the storm and was slow to respond. I called Paul Davis a few days later and was told that the project manager who submitted the estimate was on vacation. We were assigned to another project manager, and the transition to him was seamless. He knew exactly what had been submitted to our insurance company and followed up with them. Paul Davis' project manager stayed in contact with me to make sure we knew the schedule of the work to be done. All the repairs were completed in a short period of time. Quality of workmanship to repair, re-texture and repaint the ceiling was excellent. We've worked with Paul Davis before, and always been satisfied with their professionalism and workmanship. I highly recommend them.

Thuis included, painting, drywalling, flooring...etc. I thought they did a fair job, scheduling was a little dicey due to a lack of employees. When i had problems they were pretty quick to respond to them. There were a few problems with the painting work but they were also resolved. They do have a great carpenter.
