I highly recommend not using this company because of my experience with them. I used them because I bought the quartz countertops from Home Depot and the installation was presented to me that it was included in the price of the countertops. The problems were not with Home Depot, the installers or the countertops. The people running the scheduling, one in particular, Sara. When there was a problem or complaint, the short-fused Sara was summoned to take care of it. I'm not sure why. She had terrible customer service skills. She was very rude and hung up on me when I questioned why they cancelled my prescheduled plumbing for the kitchen sink they installed after I cancelled a post-surgery appointment to be there. I ended up asking Home Depot to deal with them on my behalf. The fist part of my kitchen and bath countertops and sinks installations started at the beginning of July. I am still waiting for my bathroom countertop and sink to be installed after a screw up on their part with the bathroom stuff. I had to have my husband reinstall my bathroom countertop and sink or I would have been without for what is going on about five weeks now. I am currently on the schedule to have the rest of the kitchen back splash installed and the bathroom countertop and sink on 9/12/24. I paid in full upfront.

As other reviewers have stated, they are difficult to get any information from once the deposit is paid. For cabinet refacing we were not informed of any sort of timeline. When we finally were it was only a week out. From then the actual project was pushed back another week. I have contacted the company regarding a touch up pen that would match the new cabinets but after multiple attempts was only given an Amazon link to a pen that doesn't match the actual cabinet finish. This is on top of a bit of a fiasco regarding an earlier canceled order that was then reordered. Overall it feels near impossible to speak with someone who can actually solve your problem.

HOW MKD is still in business is beyond me? Absolutely terrible service. Since October I have been dealing with Home Depot and MKD for my counter installation. This whole process has been a nightmare. I have a comprehensive 2487 word review on why you SHOULD NOT get your kitchen counters done by MKD but due to character limits on most review sites, I am unable to post the whole thing. MKD lucked out with that one I guess. If anyone wants to read it, feel free to contact me. With that being said, MKD MIS-MEASURED my NEW counters TWICE. The 2nd and last time they just ended up cutting the edges where it would potentially be “covered” by a backsplash and called it a day. Their solution? Offer me $100 to shut up. After everything was said and done, I got a $500 refund on a $1160 counter install. The kicker? Home Depot covered $300 of that $500. MKD would only go up to $200. STAY FAR FAR AWAY from MKD and Home Depot for custom countertop orders. Lesson learned.

3 months after we removed our kitchen sink for countertop install, we are still waiting on them to be correctly installed. They have wasted 3 entire kitchens worth of countertops because it continues to be cut incorrectly, arrives completely unsealed, or does not match the piece of countertop they previously bought. Yesterday, we anticipated finally getting countertops installed and when they arrived, they were again cut to the first incorrect measurements. Their response is for us to keep tagging slabs to try again. There is no effort to make resolution or any compensation. We've not been able to install a sink in this three months because there has never been a sink/backsplash combo correctly cut that we can install a sink into even temporarily. At one point we were offered a 10% discount... To keep pieces that were incorrect. When we insisted that we needed the job be completed properly they said we didn't deserve any refund. Even after 3 months with a non functional kitchen. It's been a disaster overall and they really don't seem concerned or embarrassed at all. In fact, their last comment was just to say that they were "speechless." Yeah, we're also speechless. I would never, ever recommend using MKD.

Horrible kitchen counter tops installation! Crooked, messy, multiple delays and unwilling to make it right! They tried to fix a huge, uneven gap by shoveling caulk into to it and left a horrible mess! I've been dealing with them for months trying to get them to fix the counter tops & kept getting pushed off. When I called again this week to check when someone would be coming out to talk to me, I was told the redo wasn't approved and nobody was available to come out for another month!

first off worst experience ever still in a legal battle which they claim they didnt do zero customer help or call backs they miscut my counter tops that i waited 8 weeks for but then tried to install them they dented my diahwasher and fridge scratched and chipped my pantry cause the counter top was to big due to the miscut they dropped the other counter top on the floor wich hit my fridge and scratched it i had to wait another 10 weeks for home depot to send a new company out to put my new counter top in stay far away from this company cause they literally treat costumers like numbers i will see you guys in court
