Dick was a one stop successful shopping experience. He had samples of all of the flooring types and major brands on display in his showroom. Kathy who helped us in the store was always responsive to our questions and requests and always called back when she said she would, even if the answer was not yet complete. She always got back to us appropriately when she did have the answer. She always remembered our names and situation. Dick also called back every single time as expected. He was respectful of our time and money. We came to know him as a kind man and was extremely hard working. He started the job on time and worked every day with a 2-3 man crew for 8 days to complete the job on time as requested. He never was late and never skipped a day so he could start another job. The many years of his experience proved to be an asset time and again as he suggested several ways to do something that provided a more quality outcome. We are really more than satisfied with the quality of the material, but especially with the professional job done by all at Martins. We replaced 100% of the flooring in our home so there were many hours spent with Dick and his crew. I came to thoroughly trust his suggestions as well as his extreme competence. The was a large job and was made as livable as possible because we chose Martins. We priced in downstate urban areas and Dick matched or beat their pricing. I wanted to deal locally with someone who I can trust to take care of me if a problem occurs down the road. I live in a very rural area of upper Michigan 40 miles one way from Martins and Dick was always there when he said he would be. A very fine man, and obviously very experienced flooring professional. I cannot recomend the company highly enough. We did not know him previously, but would surely use him again if needed.
