Lighthouse Electrical Service

I recently hired Lighthouse Electrical Service to convert our house from overhead to underground electrical service, convert our service from 100 amp to 200 amp, upgrade the electrical panel from 20 to 40 breakers and get 2 other circuits up to code. Their electrical work is topnotch. They have a lot of experience doing this type of work and were able to guide me through the entire process. Even with how to work with DTE. The crew that came to do the job worked very efficiency, clearly communicated all steps of what they were doing and even answered all my questions. They left everything clean and didn't leave any garbage behind. More importantly all their work passed the township inspection perfectly. Even the inspector said that he's familiar with their work and trust them to do it right with no issues. Also, their cost was the most reasonable for this type of conversation. I would recommend Lighthouse Electrical Service to anyone and they will be my go-to electrical contractor for all my electrical work that I need in the future. Thank you for the great work!!! P.S. the pictures aren't the completed job because DTE still has to do their step in the process, which is connect the underground cable from the pole to the house.

Fast, efficient, on time.

We were referred to Lighthouse by McCarver Mechanical & Heating. They have a reciprocal working relationship which is fantastic for the customer. Both companies have stellar reputations, and offer service the way the way it should be. We had a new generator installed, and it was a flawless interaction. The install was completed in one day, and as scheduled. Lighthouse team were very professional, and as neat and clean as can be. It was hard to se that we had work done that day. You will not find a better company. You pay for what you get, and this company does it right.

At the time of this review- I am stunned they only have 5 reviews! I usually only call companies that have 10 or more reviews since I need reliable and professional service for my tree service business. These people are very prompt to respond and very accommodating. Unlike some other electrical services I called for my situation. Their pricing is better than other people I talked to. Believe me I called many electrical companies and a lot of people would not tackle the task I requested. I cannot say enough good things about these people. I've hired Lighthouse Electrical for a number of projects and have found their timeliness in quoting, scheduling and completing the work impressive. Corey has found creative and cost efficient ways to complete every project no matter how crazy my ask. The electricians are professional, personable and know the industry and trade responsibilities (and the tucks are always fully stocked to handle every surprise my 70 year old house throws at them). Corey, Collen and the the complete Lighthouse Electrical Team have been great to work with and I plan on contracting them again in the future. Lighthouse Electrical is now my only electrician!!

In both instances in which we have used this electrical contractor, we have been VERY pleased with the services provided. The company was able to supply all of the required electrical components (e.g., the new bathroom ceiling-mounted exhaust fan) at reasonable prices, meaning that we did not have to shop separately for the necessary parts involved. The electrician (Rich H.) was very friendly and accommodating, taking the time to answer a number of questions I had regarding the electrical work involved. He also was cost-conscious, making the effort to install the bathroom exhaust fan from within the room (i.e., from below), thus avoiding the time/cost and aggravation (for us, as well as for him) of having to go up into our attic to access the fan mounting from above. He also conducted a quick review of our house's electrical condition, and provided a brief written suggestion (with associated cost estimates) re: several upgrades for our consideration. This was done in a totally low-key fashion, with absolutely no pressure to comply. During the second instance in which we employed this company (the installation of an upgraded 220-volt wall plug/receptacle), I also requested the last-minute addition of some extra services, namely the installation of three Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) wall receptacles in our laundry room, master bath, and a half bath. The electrician readily completed this previously-unscheduled (albeit relatively minor) work with no complaints. In addition, after completing the 220-volt receptacle installation, Rich also completed the wiring installation on our new clothes dryer (which the Home Depot installers had left unwired, as a safety issue, due to the need for the upgraded wall receptacle). I have recommended Lighthouse Electrical Service to several neighbors, and would definitely use them again for my own future electrical service needs.
