+ 0 moreJohn R Glass people were very nice and professional. They corrected the problem after explaining why the original install did not hold the gap. They also replaced the silicone sealant at the bottom of my fixed glass panel as they indicated that silicone does not initially adhere very well to marble and will mildew as moisture gets underneath. It felt like their efforts -- all at no charge -- resulted in a new shower glass door system. I would not hesitate to go with John R for any future glass needs.
Description of Work: John R Glass was subcontracted by my general contractor to install a shower glass door system (fixed panel, swinging door, hook & handle on door, Guardian ultrawhite showerguard glass) as part of a master bathroom remodeling (price indicated was based on the invoice my general contractor showed me). Installation occurred in August of 2015. The owner and installers were very professional and answered all the questions I had at the time. We were very pleased with the result. In March of 2017, I noticed the door gap was uneven. After investigating the problem on the Web, I tried to correct the gap myself, but had no success. I thought for sure I would have to pay someone to come out to fix it, but decided to try John R directly (rather than my general contractor). To my pleasant surprise, John R immediately indicated the door should not have that problem (at least not within two years) and made arrangements to have people come out to look at it.

+ -1 moreThey came out and did a good job it seemed at first. Within days, before using the shower I contacted them about noises as the door operated and a small chip in the glass by the handle, they came out and fixed the door and took pictures of the chip. I repeatedly emailed to ask about the chip but have received no response since then.
Description of Work: Install a glass door and glass wall for shower.
