Description of Work: The crab apple tree in my front yard was removed, and the stump was ground. Another, smaller tree was removed in the back yard. They also took out two very large vines that were as big as small trees.

Description of Work: I used the services of The Tree Surgeon about two months ago for pruning and deep root fertilizing.

Description of Work: When I called for an estimate on a tree damaged by high winds, I was told they were very busy but someone would try to contact me that day. I never heard back until 4 days later when I received an estimate in my mail box and a message on the answering machine from Dave. Prior to their call I had already cut up the branches and debris that had fallen, but the rest of the tree had to come down. I felt their price was good and Dave said he would be out in a week to take the rest of the tree down and grind out the stump. He came out a couple of days later and finished the job. They did a nice job of cleaning up and grinding the stump. They did damage a portion of my gutter and did not say anything about it, but I think I can bend it back into place.

Description of Work: I called and Mike came out to give us an estimate. We were happy with the price. We waited and waited and he never did come out to do the job. I guess our job was too small for him to bother. Mike was a nice guy and the price was good, I'll give him that. But he never showed to do the job, so I can't say that he was good.

Description of Work: We had a 60 foot tall Ash tree about 30 feet from our house removed. We have a small backyard that is fenced in on all sides in a older subdivision development. We also had the stump removed.

Description of Work: Mike, the owner, gave us an estimate within six hours on four 30-35' Chanticleer (Cleveland) Pear trees that sourround our patio. He returned two days later with two other men and, because it was winter, gave us a very fair price to top off the trees. They very efficiently and evenly took off about 6-8' from each tree sitting/standing on a high ladder using a hedger like tool, trimmed the side branches away from the house and fireplace and cleaning out some of the sucker branches from the inside main trunks. In addition, the fellows cleaned up all the debris around the patio and chopped up the larger branches out by the street. They were personable, close to our home, worked quickly and made it well worth it for us to have it done at this time of the year. I would recommend them to anyone for excellent tree service.

Description of Work: The company cut down one tree, trimmed quite a few, pulled out a shrub and hauled away some old, rotten trunks in the "back 40". I thought the price was very reasonable in comparison to some other quotes. I had used this same company a few years ago to trim some very large trees next to the house and remove several others. They did not remove all the shrub root, but did grind it down pretty far. It was close to the house and some brick pavers, so they were unable to pull it out completely.

Description of Work: Two large elms cut down into 18" pieces for us to split ourselves, brush chipped & removed, 4 stumps ground, and other misc. trimming of remaining trees.

Description of Work: They cut down about 60 trees for me. Some of the stumps were ground, although some of the smaller trees were cut close to the ground and did not need to be grounded down.
