Description of Work: We believe that their installer's failure to properly secure our washer (that he had previously removed to the garage for storage during a laundry room remodel) resulted in a massive flood in our home, causing thousands of dollars in damage. KSI's regional rep Ken was contentious, and KSI never lived up to their responsibilities. Repercussions from this flood remain with us three years later. We would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

(removed member name), we apologize you were dissatisfied with our steps and response to the unfortunate situation. Washing machine floods can originate from various unseen sources beneath and around the appliance. Even if your washing machine floods only one time, we know it is a mess to clean up. When we received the voice mail message from (removed member name), we sent a team member out the same day to learn about the situation. We observed that the machine was hooked up properly. To be certain, we requested and funded a professional appliance technician to check the washer for maintenance. The machine was evaluated, tested and monitored by the appliance technician and no concerns were found. We also checked to see if the manufacture recalled the machine for flooding reasons. It had not. The reason for the flood was not determined upon the investigation. KSI commiserated with (removed member name) given her flood situation. When dealing with water damage, immediate action is important. KSI offered assistance to investigate and we provided $500 toward the insurance deductible even though a reason for the flood could not be confirmed. Here are helpful tips to prevent your front loading machine from flooding. These simple, but hard-to-detect causes of flooding may help you avoid a similar situation. Use the proper amount of detergent and consider a high-efficiency detergent liquid detergent. A high-efficiency detergent doesn't produce excess suds and bubbles. A powder detergent may plug up the dispenser so check it regularly if a powder detergent is preferred. Maintain your door gasket. Do not overload the washer or leave clothing in between the door. Be sure to check pockets since items may damage the door gasket.

Description of Work: We had two bathrooms totally remodeled with all new showers, toilets, sinks, lights, and, in one, new cabinets and design. It was a pleasure working with both Jim McVeigh, designer, and Mike Falzetta, the contractor. They were both very responsive to us. The tradesmen were all courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and a pleasure to have in our home. We are still waiting for a missing piece for our main shower, and two smaller items. We have complete confidence, however, that we shall receive them.
