+ 0 moreI will definitely ask Tom for more services as he seems very knowledgeable in many areas. He always called to coordinate schedules. He was always on time, friendly and worked very thoroughly even if it took coming back several times.

+ 0 moreI feel like the prices for the materials were way higher than the labor. The work seemed to be drawn out and it wasn't quality work. He got sloppier as the work and time went on. I feel that I was patient and now want people to know what we've been through and don't want him back.
Description of Work: He did my garage for me after we had a house fire. With the ceiling it started cracking. This project took the entire summer because he said he had several other jobs going on. We had even hired him for additional work that needed to be done. During the time of the garage work, I explained that it needed to be wrapped up because of the holidays coming up. There is no drywall, tape, or mud on the ceiling. When I talked to him he asked if anyone had walked over the garage and then said that the dryer could have caused the crack. After he asked me to call him back, I did 4 times and he informed me that he wouldn't come out until the spring so that the cold weather wouldn't affect it. It is now June and there has been no call and he has yet to show up to do the work.

+ -1 moreWe didn't end up hiring anyone but Higher Standards was our very first choice.
Description of Work: We didn't hire anyone to do this project because we ended up doing it ourselves. We were going to hire Higher Standards if we did not wind up doing it ourselves. His price was the best and he also told us EXACTLY what he was going to have to do. Unfortunately, we had to replace our dishwasher at the same time so our budget didn't allow for us to replace the dishwasher and hire out our drywall work. I do highly recommend Higher Standards based upon his professionalism and straightforwardness.

+ 0 moreHe was very good and stayed in constant communication with us. We were a small job compared to some of them he had going on but he called when he said he was going to. Even though we had to change the date when he was going to do the work it was not a problem.
Description of Work: Higher Standards Home Improvements repaired some vertical siding that was coming down on our house.
