Ace Masonry

I needed some major work on my mothers house. Her chimney was literally falling apart. I called Ron from Ace Masonry and he came out and took a look at it for me with his son in law and his mason. I told him over the phone I was kind of scared it was going to fall down and he came right over. When they were there they took a look at the chimney and said it was no problem it was only going to be about 7 or 8 rows of a rebuild and he noticed some piecework that needed to be done a little lower. He said that he'd write me a quote but that as he was walking by my mothers back porch he couldn't help but notice crumbling bricks and mortar on the side. This guy must have eyes like a hawk because he literally just walked by and didn't get up close. So we went and looked together and he was totally right. He educated me on a few things about bricks which honestly was nice because so many people just look at women and think, and quot;even if I told her she wouldn't get itand quot; but he took the time to explain it to really explain it to me and answer all my questions. He said he'd write me a quite with different options and I could choose which one was right for me. He then excused himself and his coworkers and they came back a few minutes later with a detailed description of and quot;the scope of workand quot; which itemized everything he suggested be done. I figured these guys were the professionals so I looked it over and compared to the other quotes I'd received.. This one explained everything and broke down what he would charge per item to repair. On this list there was the chimney at 800 and the porch at 500 and minor tuck pointing around the house for only 100. I totally thought that was reasonable. He explained why he priced it the way he did and logically it made sense. I decided to sign them because they were very observant, extremely professional and were willing to give me options instead of just trying to get my money and doing the bare minimum to do so. I spoke with them a bit longer and decided that they were the company I wanted to choose. Ron and Samir provided me with reference lists, pictures of their jobs and their license and insurance copies. I was told by my brother to ask for those things and they were totally legit and happy to show me. They then started on my mothers house and it only took them one day to complete it. I came over as soon as they were done and Samir and Ron walked me through everything they did and made sure I was satisfied with the job they had done before they asked me for payment. I was very pleased and told them I would recommend them to everyone I know. That is why I am here writing this review. The other men that came for an estimate either seemed shady or like they were trying to rip me off. They didn't take any time to give me any decent customer service. Ace Masonry did. So, I recommend them to anyone.

I used them last fall. It was several thousand. Everything was done on time and they did an excellent job. I would give them top marks across the board. They do strictly masonry work. They replaced a lot of brick.
