 + -1 moreI had a horrendous experience! I signed up with Trugreen after having new sod put in the previous year. I had a beautiful new lawn and figured that the expense would be worth it to ensure my lawn had the best care. Trugreen subsequently burned and permanently destroyed numerous areas of my lawn which has absolutely ruined it. After calling repeatedly to file complaints and request a resolution, the local manager came out and promised he would restore my lawn but as it turned out, his promices were only lies to placate me in the moment. After multiple calls trying to resolve this situation, I finally had to give up hope that this company would do the right thing. I'm heartbroken!!!!

 + -1 moreThe treatment seemed to work fairly well, while all of the weeds in our lawn are not gone, the services provided helped tremendously. The company is great to work with and willing to bend over backwards for its customers. I would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: I have not had service yet but am already impressed. I called 8 different services for lawn aeration Scotts is the only one that would do it. Everyone said they were done for the season. Scotts did require a fertilization first but that was OK since I was going to do it myself anyway. The price is not much different than buying a bag for my lawn and I get someone else to do it.

 + -1 moreWe've been using them for a while and will continue to use them. We had a special service two years ago with them for some extra treatment. We thought it was a one time thing, but they came back the next summer and continued to do it. We were hit with the charge for that, which we weren't expecting, but that is what we signed up for. They do good work.

Their customer service is great. If we have any issues we can make an appointment and they will come meet with us to let us know our options. The take the time to explain the situation and give advice.

 + -1 moreThe results exceeded my expectations. Once the right team swung into action, they relentlessly pursued a solution to my complete satisfaction. Problems happen all the time - the response and the fix are the important criteria for assessing the true mettle of a company. TruGreen came through.
Description of Work: I am impressed with TruGreen's responsiveness to customer needs once the right people understand the issues and become engaged. There is a considerable amount of overlap within the company, and I am not sure if their systems and departments are fully integrated since I receive multiple calls on the same issue from sales, customer service, billing, and accounting. Anyway, I look past this annoyance since the company fixed the tree and shrub problems to my complete satisfaction. I will say that it took a lot of effort on my part for TruGreen to give me what I needed. Nice people Their people are very professional and easy to work with once they fully understand the buyer's needs and expectations. It may take some effort to get through to TruGreen, but once you do, they exceed your expectations. After a few bumps, I am satisfied with their services and I highly recommend the company.

 + -1 moreThey were supposed to come on May 23rd and they never showed up. They will go and will be really good. Their operation is not local. They have their main headquarters in Wilmington. Then they send their guys out loaded with whatever they have to use on the lawn. They have done it all day and the communication there is not really good. I like them when they come. The price depends on the type of treatment that I am having. They couldn't come because it was raining on and off. They didn't even report it to the office. The office assumed that we were done. They called the other day and wanted to talk to my husband to ask how the service went. My husband said that they never showed up. I am really happy with them.

 + 1 moreThey would let me know when they were coming so that it wouldn't be a surprise. If I was not at home, they would leave a little card saying that they had been here and letting me know what they did.
Description of Work: We used TruGreen for our lawn and yard work. They sprayed my trees, they did the grass, and they did the de-worming for the grub worms. They also pulled some of the grass where it was thickest in the yard.
