ULTIMATE FLOOR COVERING

My wife and I did some remodeling on a ground floor condo, and purcahsed carpet/install from our local Home Depot. The installers showed up on time; however, they had problems reading the blue print I reviewed from Home Depot. They also stated that there wasn't enough carpet to do the installation per the print. In addition to smelling very bad, 1 of the 2 installers did not speak any English at all, and the other spoke very little. The installation took approximately 6 hours to install a 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo - approximately 700 sq ft.. They did install the incorrect floor tack strip to transition from carpet to bamboo floor, and after 7 weeks it still has not been corrected. We also have several areas that appear to have bumps under the carpet. They are not visible; however, you can definitely feel it, when walking barefoot. Ultimate Floor Coverings is very poor at returning phone calls in a timely manner.

THEY CAME OUT AND INSTALLED THE FLOOR. WHEN THEY INSTALLED THE FLOOR THEY DID NOT COVER ANY OF OUR FURNITURE OR BLOCK OFF THE AREA. THE WHOLE HOUSE IS COVERED IN CEMENT DUST. SINCE THEY WERE CONTRACTED THRU HOME DEPOT, WE CONTACTED THEM AND INFORMED THEM OF THE SITUATION. THEY CAME OUT AND LOOKED IT OVER AND DETERMINED THAT ULTIMATE IS REQUIRED TO CLEAN THE ENTIRE HOUSE, VENTS DUCTS, DRY CLEAN ALL THE CLOTHING IN THE FRONT CLOSET, EVERYTHING. THE MANAGEMENT WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND APOLOGETIC AND MADE SURE THE MESS WAS TAKEN CARE OF.
