Guys showed up when planned and did a great job cleaning the deck.

It took the whole summer that I could not use my deck.

It went OK but the pressure washing really raised the grain on the cedar.

I have no complaints about the company. From start to finish I was kept informed by someone at the company. A few issues came up and they were all fully addressed and corrected. The contractors were very clean and they were careful with any foliage around the area. I liked the fact that the owner, Richard, oversaw the project and checked in to make sure things were running appropriately as well - along with when the job was completed too. I had a couple concerns that came up and Richard addressed them promptly and corrected them. I felt the price was fair and would use them again.

Due to other bookings it took a few weeks to come but it was quick once started

I had my 28 year old porch power washed and stain/wood protector applied. The porch now looks nearly as nice as it did when it was first built. All of my calls and emails were returned promptly, the work was performed before the estimated date and the employees that came to my home were very nice. I definitely recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.

It never got going. No one came by or called us to keep us informed.

great! they replaced rotted boards, applied two coats and cleaned up. Super job with professional results.

The customer service which is what I based my review on was horrible. The owner called and said that their crew was coming out - but didn't say when. I called and left several messages with giving them a correct phone number. They kept leaving messages on my home phone and since I work, I do not check it during the day. By the time I got home and checked it, it was too late to contact them, I left messages again giving them the correct number and no one called back. One night at 8:00 the door bell rings and they announce that they are going to stain the deck. Basically it was just bad customer service. Their work is good

The job was outstanding, the price was fair and I especially appreciated that they did not try to upsell me or suggest that I replace my wood with plastic. I recommend them highly.

They did a GREAT job. I can not express how happy we are with their work. They are one of the only contractors that came in at the quoted price and their work was above and beyond what we expected. We now have a lovely, sturdy and safe deck! It feels new!

Great. They fit me in when I had a tight schedule and did a really nice job. We used them because of the great job they did on our deck.

Job was performed, but flat post top were stapled in to post. replaced tops started to come lose and rise up from the posts in addition, one bottom of one post surround not finished. I called and attempted to e mail photos. No response. I therefore tracted doen the home/office location of Restore A Deck and spoke with the wife. I again transmitted photos to her phone and to date no one has responded to scrwe the post tops down or finish the 1 post bottom surround. This has been at least 2 months since the intial contact. I also received a quote from Resore A Deck for power wasing the deck, i was also thinking about etting it statined however this will not be done by them and i would not recommend them to anyone.

The work was excellent. I would have appreciated a bit more communication on when they would be here. But, the way they operate, I didn't need to be here, for any of it - the inspection, the power washing or the staining. They bill for the work after the job is complete. They worked quickly, the results look great, and the evaluation of the condition of my deck was honest. I would recommend them and will use them again.

Not so hot. They were timely with providing an estimate. I called the last week in April and they promised to get the job in by the end of May. They told me they would give me a couple of day notice when they would be able to come do the job. Received no calls. We had to make a number of calls to get them to come out as promised. Then they indicated they would show up to start the job and did not show or call to reschedule. They did finally complete the job and it looks OK. They just weren't worth the hassle to get them to do the work they indicated they wanted.

Each part of the service was done to expectation; the crew was communicative to me and to their boss, and they informed me when a certain repair wouldn't be worth the cost/effort, and accepted an on-the-fly side job as a replacement. I'm very happy with the results of each repair, but a special thanks goes to the owner: When the deck was stained/sealed, it was gorgeous, but we noticed a missed portion. The owner came back out, fixed it, and took the time to re-stain/seal other areas of the deck because they weren't up to his specifications. That was excellent customer service, and we'll be using them going forward. Our deck looked totally unloved before (because it was), but now looks incredible.

Very pleased with the work this company did. They came out quickly for an estimate and were pretty busy for a few weeks with other jobs and some bad weather, but when we hit the top of the list, they called ahead to give us time to get furniture off, etc., and just the power wash took years off of it along with a lot of green stuff. A crew came the next day or day after to apply the stain, 2 coats, and it looked great. Also pleased that they had a carpenter they work with who could fix the door frame. The owner came out a few days later to check the job and felt that the wood was so thirsty after years of neglect that the floor and top railings needed an extra coat, and he did that himself at no extra charge. I should also say that his estimate for the work was half what a local general contractor was going to charge me for the same job. I'm learning it pays to hire people that specialize in their field, I'm sure we got a better result with the proper wood treatment for a much more affordable price by doing so. Will definitely call them in the future when we need this done again, along with the small section of wood fencing I forgot to include in this project.

It looks just fabulous. It was a 20-yr-old wood deck that over the years I neglected to keep up. Richard immediately came out afterwards just to do some extra touch-up at no charge that I called to request. They gave me a coupon price without me having to provide a coupon. Very fair price, timely completion, highly recommend. I will definitely call them every few years to come back to keep it looking new.

My experience with Restore-A-Deck started with a visit from Richard who arrived on time as promised. Richard spent the time to explain what needed to be done on my new cedar deck. He brought cedar wood stain samples to make it easier to choose the color for our deck. Richard was very professional. The power wash crew came a week earlier than originally promised (a good thing). The crew was very attentive to the landscaping surrounding the deck. A cleaner and brightener was applied by the power wash crew to prepare the deck for it's fresh coat of stain. The staining crew arrived three days later after the deck had time to dry in the warm summer sun. Again, the staining crew was very attentive to the landscaping surrounding the deck. They also were extremely careful not to get stain on the house or adjacent concrete. The crew of three stainers got right to work with each member of the team knowing their specific job. When they were finished the deck looked fantastic. Other than the obvious new stain on our deck, you would have never known the crew had been at my residence. My experience with Restore-A-Deck and ALL of their employees was fantastic. Service "after the sale" is also exceptional. Highly recommended.

I used them in 2013, and they sent me a reminder card it's time to redo the deck. So I called and they said it would be done by early June, called twice, said they forgot, but I am on the last. No calls yet and it's July this week, so I am moving on to another contractor. In2013, they were sloppy and stripped some siding trim near the deck rail. They did come back and spray painted it, but it will not last

Although the work product was very good, every time I called them if no one answered the phone, they did not have voice mail. They had us pick a color for the railing before we picked a color for the deck. We asked how much they would charge to redo the railing and they wanted, in my opinion, a little too much money to redo it so we just kept it. I never knew when they were coming out as they never called to tell us. I would use them again because their workmanship was very good, but I just didn't understand how you pick a color for a railing before choosing a deck color.

Went well. The owner Mr. Pauley came back to inspect the deck and bring back one of the King Post Cap he repaired. He put that back on. I was concerned because it rained about 3 hours after the crew finished the job. Mr. Pauley gave the Deck a good examination and advised everything looked fine. I also asked him about some wood that might need some sanding down and he agreed and did that on the spot to make sure the wood was not left jagged. The Deck looks great, the crew did a great job and were professional and courteous. Very Satisfied.
