They did everything right. The price was just too high for us. They have good products, but the price is just not for everybody. The product is good for some people, but not for us, definitely. The responsiveness was pretty good. I would use them, obviously, if I had the money for it. The estimate was ready the same day. The workers were good. Three were two of them. It was an hour and a half appointment. They measured each window, discussed it, and showed a presentation and gave some quotes.

It wonderfully. They were very courteous and professional. They did an excellent job.

I have one complaint. I asked for the work to be identical. After all was said and done I no longer had a keyed entry off the patio. The door handle was not keyed hence I cannot access my yard through this door except through the home.

Measurements were done on one visit and an estimated installation date was given. Suggestions on prep were given so that installation would go smoothly. Suggestions were followed. On the installation date agreed upon the men were early and finished in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. You can hardly tell that the screens are there. We asked for the finer screens.

Installation was done when promised and the new window looks beautiful. The workers did a great job and were good with an explanation on the process and also at the end. Wish the other windows in the house were Anderson.

3 crews accomplished the job in 6.5 hours. These installers are craftsmen, well organized and functioned as one team.Prepped with tarps and ground pads, took out the old units, replaced with new rba units. Super products, well made. Door installation was excellent. These doors are solid with excellent hardware. Home owner must prep to assure adequate space for installation and move furniture as necessary. This reduced the installation time considerably and cut back on the dust and debris. This is an expensive project so any help the homeowner can do enhances the results. Big difference in interior warmth.

Excellent! Both Carlos and Mark from A-1 window were prompt, personable, and professional. Trimwork was precise and took a finish perfectly.

My complaint is that I responded to a newspaper ad offerring $700.00 off each patio door and $275.00 off each installed window When I got a quote for the replacements I presented the ad to the sales rep. His expression appeared to be of surprise and stated that the ad was only good on a their (goofy) national pricing structure which would be much higher. Potential buyers BEWARE of this company's ads!!

What a wonderful crew of 15 men! They worked non-stop for 7 hours. The 3 crew leaders were professional and intent on getting everything done well and making sure that we were satisfied. We interacted the most with Larry who is a stellar representative for the company. My apologies to the crew for not ordering lunch; it was just a crazy day and I didn't think of it until after everyone left and I realized how hungry I was. I love the new windows and I'm very happy with my choice of exterior color. We know they cost more but it's true...you get what you pay for. We think it was a good investment.

Had 3 new large windows installed by A-1 Carlos and Mark. They did a great job! They got there early, protected my furniture, worked quickly, and cleaned up before they left. Carlos even performed a minor repair on an older Renewal by Andersen window.

They arrived early and immediately got to work. They were very professional and courteous. I have never had better workmen. What a great way to have windows replaced. I would definitely ask for this crew again. They did everything that was included and then went beyond the scope of work that I thought would be done. Thank you for the great job. Carlos and Marc truly enjoy what they do and it shows in their workmanship. Great Job.

It went very good. I am very satisfied. I was very pleased on the installations of my Andersen windows by Carlos and Marc A-1. They were very professional. It's so nice to see employees that represent Andersen Renewal Company that represent them and want them to be happy. From the set up to clean up your employees were concerned about my home, and wanted to please me. I was 100% satisfied by the workmanship by Carlos and Marc! Great job, guys!

Our home was built in 1992. We are not the original owners. The existing door walls were a good name brand, and had blinds between the inner and outer panes of glass. On the main floor the mechanism to adjust the blinds was worn out. But no other problem. The inner pane comes out so the blinds can be removed. In my opinion a double vacuume sealed pane is more insulated. On the upper floor there was a real problem. The threshold of the door would badly frost in Winter and the door was drafty around one side of the gliding door. Caulking around the door didn't help with the frosting. The carpet area in front of the door would get damp from the freezing and thawing. The dampness caused mold on the carpet! We had discussed replacing at least the door wall on the upper floor. One late afternoon Darren Guthrie and another gentleman from Anderson knocked on our door while canvassing the neighborhood. After confirming they were employees of Renewal By Anderson we made an appointment to find out about replacing one or more door walls. The appointment resulted in us replacing two door walls. Darren and his co-worker were very professional and were in no way pushy or trying to sell us anything we didn't need. A big selling point is they use installers that work exclusively for Anderson. Anderson takes responsibility for the product and the installation. Anderson Windows and Doors are not cheap, but there is none better. It's our home, we want the best. We couldn't be happier. What a difference. The doors fit in the same opening, but we have more glass. It's a larger view. It's changed both rooms with more light. Window and doors have improved in the last 25 years. The Anderson installer Lanbree Construction was fantastic. Jim Yax, owner, and two other members of the crew, Howie and Chuck, were confidence inspiring. When tearing out the old doors, that's really important. They were obviously experienced, very competent, and friendly. We give Lanbree Construction and Jim Yax an A+. We definitely recommend Renewal By Anderson.

Did not make it past phoning the company. I inquired if any of their windows have a U-value of equal to or less than 0.3 which is required to qualify for a DTE rebate (and is also a good idea for the Michigan winters) and she had no idea what I was talking about and wanted to schedule a consultation, however, I told her it would be waste of time if none of the windows matched what I was looking for so I'd rather not waste anyone's time. Then she thought she switched to some other employee to ask and said essentially I'm an idiot and then when I said I was still on the phone, she hung up on me. Nice, right. One would think a window company would train their employees to know energy efficiency of windows and then train them how to apologize! So much for this place.....

They were very adamant that my husband needs to be home when estimator comes. I explained this can not happen and he does not have two hours to spend. I make most house decisions. They repeatedly asked when he would be home too. Did not schedule appointment!

They did fine. They had to come out a couple of times because of the weather. It was a lot...$14000. I know they are probably the most expensive place you can get windows. I had Andersen windows in the house so I just had them come out. Everything they did was 'A' but it is just the price. It is very high priced. It is 'A' on the work and everything. I am thinking here of one thing that happened that was not good but responsiveness, I would say 'B'. Everything was on time. Like I said, the only reason I selected them is because we already had Andersen windows, other than that, I just didn't look around much I just went with them. They could lower the price. If I was replacing anymore of these windows I just think I would go with a company that was a little less expensive. I've got a tonne of windows on this house. Those seven needed repairs because of leaks and stuff...that is why we got those at this particular time but I am sure I got $50000-$60000 over the windows if I have them all done.

We would highly recommend Renewal by Andersen. Our salesman, Chris was extremely professional. His computer was awesome. He showed us exactly what each window would look like in advance. He showed the differences between Anderson and their competitors with examples of glass and the materials that would be used. This is our forever home and yes, the cost was not the least expensive of our quotes, but the quality and service are unsurpassed! All 18 windows and the French Door were installed in ONE DAY. Their team arrived on time at 8:30 am and the entire installation was complete by 5:30 pm. Amazing! This crew was a well-oiled machine! Each installer knew his job and completed it with pride and efficiency. Every inch of our home was covered with tarp and our beautiful Brazilian cherry wood floors were covered and treated with the utmost respect. It began to rain at about 1 pm, quite heavily, but the Andersen team did not miss a beat. They donned their rain wear and kept right on working. Our windows are so beautiful! We could notice the noise level in our home dropped immediately. Our windows used to sing when the wind would blow, but not anymore. They are as tight as a drum. There is no more draftiness in our home. We would highly recommend Renewal by Andersen. P.S. The team even looked out after my little cat! The guys could not have been more wonderful!

I was unable to call them because I did not have the right number. The doors were expensive in my opinion.

Told me almost all my windows and doors are bad and need replacement. Pushy in getting me to sign contract for replacement. Very dishonest in review. Price to replace is crazy.

They replaced all nine windows in one day.

I've used them before and I was very happy with the product. I had them install windows in 2010 and missed some windows I thought they were replacing. It was the bay window and a laundry room window which they installed last year. That installation was not as good as the first time. The windows are fine but they didn't clean up as well as the first time and that crew was significantly younger and smaller than the first time I used them since I was only having four windows done compared to ten windows. However I like the product so much and it performs so well and it wasn't so horrible of a clean up that I couldn't do it myself and there was no damage. They are very thorough and very good at explaining the processes how the windows are made and how we would benefit from the windows. They have their own installers, I understand they are not contracting out with another company. Everyone has been on time and professional.
