Ken was great in getting back with us on quotes, dates he'd be able to paint as well as communicating to us during the process. He and his two guys were efficient, professional and kept the area clean. We love the new fresh look for our house.

We cannot begin to explain how pleased we are with the work that Ken, Mark, and Alex did in our kitchen. From start to finish they demonstrated that they know their craft well. When they came on the job scene our kitchen was a mess. We had some rather nasty drywall issues that needed addressing, all of which they patched and repaired magnificently. They also painted our walls and ceilings beautifully with 2 coats of paint, and stained some new wood trim to accurately match 15 year old existing trim (with no records of the type of stain previously used). Ken and his crew were so very polite and friendly to work with. They patiently answered our questions and addressed our concerns without argument or complaint. Ken takes his work seriously and exhibits a high level for attention to detail. Even though it was a long day, Ken and his crew did not leave until not only was he satisfied but he knew we were completely happy as well. At every step of the project, from initial contact to final completion, Ken displayed honesty and integrity. He takes his work seriously and does an outstanding job. If we could give an A+ rating we would. He went above and beyond our expectations. Thank You.

They called back a few hours after we left a message BUT we called after a normal business days hours, so was really impressed that they called back within that evening.

I was looking for a company to paint the exterior of my recently purchased home. I had about five of the Angie's List best rated companies come over and give me an estimate and based on the integrity I perceived from Ken, I decided to wait almost a month for Newcoat Painting. And boy, I'M GLAD I DID. I loved everything about the process: 1. Ken is very up-front. He won't give you a starting date until he is completely sure he can make it. 2. They (Ken and Mark) are very meticulous. They prepped the daylights out of the house. I believe they prepped the night lights out of it, too. 3. The paint job was perfect. Clean, even, smooth and every word you can use to positively describe a paint job. Creamy? 4. They finished the house in A DAY AND A HALF. You read that right, A DAY AND A HALF. It took me a week to decide on the paint color! 5. They're super friendly folks. We even invited them to our wedding and we really hope they come. Listen, I already did all the research, calling, interviews, comparisons, etc. for you. If you want to paint your house, want a smooth, stress-free process and "like brand new" results, do yourself a favor: Call Ken and go with him. If you still want to do the research, calling, interviews, comparisons, etc., call all of of them. At the end you're still gonna go with him.

Ken from New Coat Painting came out to my new house about a week before I needed the painting to actually begin. The first thing that I noted is that he was very punctual. After reviewing what was needed, he told me he would give me a written estimate in a day or two. He allowed me the option of providing my own paint, which I decided to do. He told me exactly how many gallons of each color and each type of paint to purchase: flat white for the ceiling, semi-gloss white for the trim and doors, and satin finish in the appropriate color for each room. His labor-only estimate came in a couple of days later and I accepted it. Ken, and his brother Mark, showed up on the appointed day right when they said they would be there. They prepared my home by patching holes and cracks, removing light switch and wall outlet covers, and bringing in drop cloths to protect the floors. They taped off areas that required clean lines and/or to protect adjacent surfaces, and hung plastic drop cloths over the kitchen cabinets and appliances. I had purchased 16 gallons of paint, per Ken?s instructions, and I had them stored in the garage. They retrieved them and after confirming my choice of colors with me, relocated the correct paint into each room so as not to mix them up. They were incredible, working as a team, knowing what the other required, and moving with a purpose as they tackled the massive job. Together they painted my 1300 sq ft house with two coats of paint, including the ceiling, walls, trim, and doors in only two days! I am somewhat fussy about painting so I?m often not completely satisfied with the job others do, but New Coat did an absolutely beautiful job. Furthermore, besides being punctual, they were friendly, courteous, and eager to accommodate me in my decisions, even offering suggestions at my request. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing high quality painting at a reasonable price.

What can I say, I'm pretty picky. Each time I select a service provider I spend a lot of time researching prior to making the decision. Not only was Ken right on target in providing a competitive estimate he was thorough in explaining the entire process to me. When he called to let me know that he would be able to perform the work when I would be out of town I did not hesitate to let my husband manage the process while I was away. Again, very unusual for me. Ken did not disappoint. I was able to return home to a fresh new look. I will definitely be using Ken for all future paint projects!

Ken is very excited and proud of the work he does- which makes it an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I also appreciate the lack of sales pressure from Ken. His work speaks for itself and he relies on word-of-mouth sales. I couldn't be more impressed with Ken and his crew and the work they did.

NewCoat and Ken were prompt at every step from the estimate to the final work. Everything turned out exactly as they said. They were EXTREMELY capable of working with no supervision. The work they produced was excellent. I was out of town from just after accepting his bid to the finished product. This was the most amazing experience. Extremely satisfying to work with them. From the very start I got the impression of an extremely competent, careful, considerate, professional, honest, and trustworthy person from Ken. He lived up to every expectation. When done, everything was put away and clean. Things he moved were back where they belonged. We had the entire inside of a 4-bedroom house painted, walls repaired, plastering done (some quite difficult plaster-on-metal lath). His suggestions on how to handle difficult problems turned out to be excellent and proved his thorough knowledge of his trade. Then he pressure washed and painted the outside of the house (aluminum siding) and the garage. When this was all done we asked him to do the basement which also turned out to be spectacular. We had him back to do a few small touch-ups here and there; a few things we decided to paint that we had omitted from the original bid. These were not an issue for him. The price was exactly as bid. No extras. I can't recommend him too highly. If I could only find a plumber, electrician, and handyman with his wonderful work ethic.

Newcoat did a wonderful job for a neighbor and I was looking forward to have the same quality done at my home. I was very disappointed with the no call back. I will contact another painter for estimates.

Contacted Ken with a quote request and received a very prompt response. Two days later he was at my home reviewing the job requirements. His schedule is so busy he actually asked if it would be okay to come out to see the job on a Sunday -- which worked great for our schedule. Received a formal quote by email within 24 hours of his site review. When we accepted the bid the job was scheduled and completed within a week. Ken, his brother and a third painter arrived at the promised time and immediately got to work. There were so many nail pops in our 8 year old home the ceiling in the kitchen was covered with repairs. They worked long and hard-11 hours the first day and 7 hours the second day until the project was completed. They did a great job-quality professional painting. My only suggestion relates to the prep work done prior to the start of the project. I should have requested that they use plastic to tape off adjacent rooms that were not part of the scope of the project. We had a lot of dust and clean up required in those areas likely due to all of the necessary drywall repairs. Same holds true of the hardwood floors. We had some minor drips and paint smears that we cleaned up due to movement of the tarps they used. This does not at all change our opinion of this company. We would hire them again without fail for future needs. The finished product looks great.

Ken was very prompt in giving an estimate. The crew arrived at the designated time and did a great job of covering everything, moving necessary furniture and completed the whole job, living room, dining room, hallway and kitchen, in one (1) day! All rooms had two coats both walls and ceilings. Kitchen included stripping old wallpaer and patching throughout the house. Very pleased with Ken and the crew from Newcoat.

Ken and his brother Mark showed up on time and went to work quickly. I hired them because of the positive reviews they had on Angies List and I was not disappointed. Not only was their work professional but their personalities made them a delight to have around.

Ken was responsive to my phone calls, and arranged to meet at the home very quickly. He was professional, made suggestions for my project, and quoted the work in about a day. The price was fair and where I expected it to be. Unfortunately, in the end we did not use Ken due to some internal family miscommunications that were out of Ken's control. I would definately consider using Ken in the future.

Owner came out to do the estimate of the job and also to do the painting with his crew. Showed up on time. Had my kitchen and family room painted and some nail pops and water spot on the kitchen ceiling repaired. Did an awesome job, will use them again.

I called Newcoat Painting LLC for an estimate. Ken came out next day. Gave an estimate the next day. Scheduled job according to my schedule. Arrived as scheduled and on time. Protected furniture and carpeting. They were careful when moving any items. Painting and clean up were excellent. Could not be happier. Great painting job! We like the fact that he stands behind his work. Will definately recommend to others and use for future painting needs. He completed the work as promised in a timely manner. Very pleasant person to deal with. We were extremely pleased with the job he did.

They (Ken:owner, Mark:brother, and Alajandro:painter) were v ery professional and friendl. A real pleasure to have in your house. They moved all necessary furniture and covered everything with plastic, and all floors with dropcloths, so there was no uneccessary mess. It was a real nice experience dealing with them. I will definately call on them again for any and all of my painting needs. They finished my job in two days, so there was no prolonged mess, and I am able to get my house back in order quickly.

Ken and his team delivered everything he said he would do and then some. I cannot say enough good things about Ken and Newcoat Painting. If you need painting done, give him a call. My only regret is I used another company to paint our exterior in 2011. I wish I had known about Ken back then! He and his team treated my wife with the utmost respect (she was working from home while they were here) and at the end of a very long day, he stuck around to answer questions, tell us what the plan was for the following day and make sure we were completely satisfied before he left each night. If you knew me, you would know I am a very hard grader when it comes to such things. Ken won over a client for life with his work, customer service and professionalism.

It couldn't have gone better. I would give them an A+ rating. I have had many painters in the past, since I've started using these guys, I don't even look around anymore. No one could top their price. You can't even tell anyone has been there to do work because they leave the site completely clean. His attention to detail for the price is amazing.

Set a date to perform the work immediately upon signing the estimate, within same week. Reminded me the day before exactly what time they were coming. The day of the work, they arrived on time, and promptly got to work. They meticulously covered all the furniture and fixtures and the hardwood floors.Most of the time was spent with the drywall correction, doing it the right way. Took a short lunch, and got back to work finishing up late afternoon. Cleaned the area, and even mopped up the drywall dust that was left over. I guess my hardwood floors were cleaner when they were done, than when they started!

Everything went well. The gentleman did meticulous work, and I'm very satisfied with the results.

Ken is a pleasure to work with. He walks you through every aspect of the project, and delivers professional results. Highly recommended.

It was like great magic ! Ken and his associate Jon were amazing! They painted most the house with two coats of paint in less than a day and a half. They sanded, filled and had everything cleaned up so incredibly quickly.
