Original A/C install was done by unlicensed installer, and was not up to code. After consulting with MDI, discovered that a great deal of work needed to be done. The MDI team provided good advice, and was able to complete the repair work within the time window that was quoted.

Job started 2 weeks late i needed to do all prep and finish work. and i was owed a 4,000 refund check that was never received.

Mr. [Member Name Removed], We are very sorry to hear, via an Angie's List review, several years later, that you are dissatisfied with the work completed. From our records, the job started late because the original contractor was having issues. Our workers arrived on 9/16/13 and completed the work on 9/22/13. The proposal that I have dated 8/27/13 show that the start date was TBD, as we were waiting on word from FHA for the 203k from dated 9/10/13. Also, the bid didn't include prep or finish work that we have. MDI Comfort Systems, Inc. was originally subcontracted through a general contractor for a portion of this job for your Rehabilitation Loan. We have not heard any complaint nor request for monies owed from the general contractor or from yourself. We have a copy of your signed Waiver and Release showing 100% completion dated 9/27/13. And, through our correspondence with General Contractor, MDI had no reason to believe that you were not happy as the customer. We have several pictures of our completed work and think your improvements are beautiful. We are a small veteran owned family business that works very hard to insure that our customers are happy. If you were unhappy, we would have worked to find a way to satisfy your expectations. If you were owed $4,000, we would tried to help you recover your funds. We feel as though we completed our portion of the contract, as contracted. And, it was our understanding, via the general contractor, that you were very pleased with the work. We are a small veteran owned family business. If you were unhappy, we would have worked to find a way to satisfy your expectations. Please be sure when contracting with a general contractor that the subcontractor is aware of any complaints or issues that you may have.
