Matrix did a terrific job with our basement -- from start to finish their team was professional and reliable. The craftsmen who worked on our home were great -- very capable, pleasant and good at what they do! Timing was unfortunately longer than we had expected, owning to a very busy summer for Matrix and the township inspection schedule, but the Matrix team worked with us every step of the way, and the final result is just what we hoped for.

They did a great job and were very professional. I would definitely use them again.

We could not be happier with how are basement turned out. Matrix did a great job and we love it. towards the end of the project my wife wanted to change some moldings on the stairs and Matrix sent their finishing guys in and had it done in 2 days, no questions asked. they came in at the end and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction Great job.

I reviewed most of the larger basement finishing companies. By far Matrix impressed me the most. Their online pictures and videos are fantastic and gave me a lot of great ideas. I did the initial design on my basement. The salesman Ryan Wright greatly improved on my design and gave me what I believe is a reasonable price for the amount of work to be done. My project supervisor Joe Degrave was also available to answer questions and keep me informed of project status. I am more than satisfied with their quality of work. This company has highly trained professionals in every aspect of the project; including construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and flooring. I highly recommend this company!

Job took longer than expected, and there were some gaps in communication, some of these gaps due to situations beyond anyone's control. Matrix offered decent financing and was willing to work with me to help me find the most affordable option.

We hired Matrix to do our basement walls. I was initially happy that they were happy to take on a “smaller project” and didn’t pressure us to add services and details to increase the cost. In fact, Dan Davis helped us fit the project to our budget. I was also very hesitant to have workers in our home while we were not there. After day one, I felt fully confident going to work, running errands, and taking the kids out to do things while they worked in our home. Joe and Greg spent the most time working in our home and I felt confident that they were professional and trustworthy. Everything looks great! Exceeded our expectations!

Glad we went with Matrix. Sales guy was very professional, walked us through everything from plan layout to pricing. Communication with our project manager was efficient and timely. Crew that was assigned to us was great! They worked with us on minor changes to the plan as the build out progressed. Finished product is great, basement is much warmer and less humid with the Matrix walls installed.

It went amazing. The team kept us updated on the timeline of the project and did everything they could to make it a smooth project from start to finish. We are so happy with the final product.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Matrix Basement Systems. From start to finish of the job, my wife and I could not be happier. The original salesperson we met with, Dan Davis, explained the benefits of the system and showcased the features without pressuring us into purchasing. Our project coordinator, Joe, and the head of the installation crew, another Joe, were both amazing. My wife and I threw a few curveballs their way by changing our minds on a couple of things during the process. We also asked for some custom work that was specific to our basement to be done. In both cases, I was worried about what Joe and Joe would say, but all we ever heard from them was, “no problem, we’ll make it happen.” And they were absolutely true to their word. Greg came in for the final finishing work and ensured that the finished product was perfect. Everyone who came to our house was polite, kind to our curious sons, neat, and extremely professional. The quality of the workmanship and finished product is completely above and beyond our expectations. We are thrilled with and are loving our new basement. We have already highly recommended Matrix to our friends and will continue to recommend.

Matrix did a wonderful job from start to finish. Their Designer developed a fantastic plan after discussing our needs and preferences. The work crew was very professional and the the Project Lead was always available to answer questions. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in finishing their basement.

This is our second time working with Matrix, we returned because of our exceptional experience the first time. The project moved quickly, the crew worked well, and the everything was completed on time.

When I told my coworker, he said that he had worked with Matrix too, and would never do a basement any other way again. That got my hopes up that they would do a good job, and I wasn't disappointed. I now agree with my coworker: If I ever have to have another basement finished, Matrix will get my business again. All the people from Matrix were great to work with. They're flexible and eager to satisfy the customer in every way they know how. Basements is all they do, and they do a good job. Compared to other contractors that I know, Matrix deserves 5 stars. I would give it 4.5 because nobody is perfect, but they come pretty close in the world of contracting. What got our attention mostly is the material they use. The walls are made with foam insulation sandwiched between two sheets of magnesium board. A basement flood won't destroy your basement, and the material is stronger than regular drywall. The drop ceiling sits straight and the floor looks great too. The photo was taken after they finished, but before I did the paint and trim. The ceiling, floor, walls and electric were done by them.

David and his crew exceeded my expectations. He is very thorough with his work and they did a very good job, the basement came out even better than I expected and the hardwood floor and painted ceiling was very nice, modern and contemporary. If you're looking for quality go with MATRIX

Happy with the whole experience. Rob and Steve were great to work with. They were both very helpful.

We had an old cold dark wood paneling basement and matrix ripped everything out and built us a really nice space that we can use now. Joe was great to work with during the project.

Matrix employees were great to work with and professional. We made a lot of changes to our plans and they were very patient with us and let us take our time finalizing our selections even though i am sure we took longer than they wanted. We love out basement

Very accommodating making changes to the design with me after we started. We changed our bar/kitchen at the last minute and are very happy they let us do that. Very professional.

The crew was the best i have ever had. David Lavoy was the best. If i ever do a project like this again i want David to be the one working on my project. We love our basement.

Matrix did a great job. They built me a bar and TV area and i couldn't be happier. Joe my field manager and Ryan my Design rep did a great job getting it built the way i wanted and all the crew members worked well together.

All contactors were professional. Matrix was excellent, good communication very pleased.

Steve was very helpful and responsive. The team working always let me know the schedule and finished with the generic timeline that Matrix gave us. The only delays were us making decisions on some things, but Steve was patient with us and in the end I have a space i love and we will be spending a lot of family time down there.

Matrix kept us completely involved & the job completed on time. Steve did a great job managing the project and the workers were clean and on time daily. Can't say enough about Matrix. Did a phenomenal job!

Good Crew. Good Workmanship. Steve communication was excellent and always available and returned texts and call every day i reached out to him. He met the deadline by jumping throw a few hoops, but he made it happen.

Service and communication were great throughout the entire project. We had to get it finished in order to get my daughters bedroom down there. Everything went great!! I would recommend this company!!
