They were really great and they were really good.

The owner is Andy Kondrath. He was professional. He showed up on time.

They were on time. They did a great job. They are very nice.

From estimate to completion they were professional in everyway. We were able to negotiate on the price in order to award them the job. The job started on time even though the weather had not been good. They completed the new roof in one day, the siding in two days, and gutters on the final day. The crews all specialize in each specific service and were on time and professional, they are also employees of the company and not subcontracted. The final result is great and we have had many compliments from our neighbors as well as recommending the to others. We would absolutley recommend them and use them again.

They showed up on time. They were really nice. I was just getting a bunch of estimates for the project and they were just one of the companies. Their price was same as another company. I would consider them for a future quote.

Not what I had expected. The person did call me, I explained that I needed to fix the gutter over the porch and also to add an additional drain and spout down a column and face the water to come out in the landscaping. 1st attempt - a 5 ft spout faced towards the front of the house- was on the lawn 2nd attempt - this time it was in the landscaping but the 5 ft spout(drain pipe) was in the middle of my landscaping. After I talked to the individual was told that they do not cut pieces or have any customized pieces. I wanted the drain to be closer to the ground vs the almost 90 degree angle that landed in the middle of my landscaping. This is the front of the house so everyone walking to the porch would see a 5 ft pipe. Paid $275.00 for this. Now I am left with trying to find pieces to cut and customize If I had know that this company does not do this, I would have hired a handyman. At least I would not be paying this amount and would have got what I wanted. This company being on Angie's list, I thought they would be better equipped. As least they call you back within the same day.

My main concern was water leaks coming down behind the gutter and siding at the back of the house. I interviewed 13 companies. There were two reasons why we went with JK construction. 1) Andy (salesperson/estimator) was the only person to go on the roof and inspect the area visually, 2) He had many vinyl color samples and trim schemes and suggestions that would make the house look good. He clearly had experience in this line of work and knew what needed to be done. He explained in detail how the siding and trim would be done. Andy assured me that they would find the source of the leak and the crew would be careful not to damage the roof where they would be working. He gave us copies of referrals and location of houses where they had worked . We saw a couple of the referrals and were impressed with the trim work. I could not believe it when he said the crew would be finished with the job in 3 days! As I said earlier, this was not an easy house to work on. The other companies estimated the job would take anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. It was around the middle of July when we decided to go with JK. I told Andy I was impressed with his presentation, he told me that if I was impressed with presentation that I will be amazed how good the house will look when the crew is finished with our house. He gave us a projected timeline August 29-31 to do the job and kept us informed during July and August of their progress on other jobs and that we were still on schedule. (good communicator) The crew came on time, all 12 of them. I was impressed how fast and hard they worked and how they worked together so well. They were careful and they cleaned up all debris at the end of day. They obviously worked together for some time each person was focused on the task from start to finish. After day one they had taken down all the aluminum siding and insulation, replaced wood rot and put up insulation on the entire house. Placed plywood on the flat roof to walk on and to prevent damage. Jeff found the source of my water leak and had me look at the problem. It was a faulty drip edge installation from previous roofers with half of the facia board missing behind the gutter. Installed "Monogram" siding and trim on the entire west side and half on the east side of the house! I told Jeff and Bill I was already amazed at how good the house looked! After Jeff showed me the problem of the roof leak. I called the roofing company and to their credit they came to house in about 30 minutes and saw the problem and would fix the problem the following week. The roofer saw the siding crew and told me he was amazed at the size of the crew and how fast they were working. On day two, they came on time and proceeded to install the rest of the east side and the back side of the house. Sided the 2 dormers on the front of the house. Bill did an awesome job on trimming the doors and windows throughout the house. He has a very good eye on detail when it come to trimming. The crew installed soffits on the back extension of the house. Bruce installed the storm doors, these doors are well made, grip the handle and it opens easily and closes softly, they don't slam when closing like other storm doors. (Bruce has been installing doors for over 40 years) I was glad that I was around because many situations came up when Jeff or Bill would ask me questions, ie installing the water faucets, light fixtures, etc. My neighbors were already commenting how good the house looked and were amazed on how quick the job was progressing! On day three, the crew installed vertical siding under the bays and trim work around the bay windows as well. Reinstalling wires and cable lines. They even offered to reattach the porch lights, porch railing and hung the address numbers. That was a pleasant surprise. They were finished by 1 o'clock and the gutter crew came in finished the installation by 3 o'clock. The clay colored gutter matched the siding beautifully. If anybody would watch the crew working for just 10 minutes, they would see a work ethic that is very impressive and not hesitate to hire! I would highly recommend JK Home Improvement to anyone who wants knowledgeable, experienced and quality workmanship. Andy was right, I'm amazed how good the house looks! The cost was higher than most, but it was well worth it.

We had several estimates and we were not happy with the prices. We decided to make one more call, and it was to JK Home Improvement. It was the right call. We scheduled an estimate with Andy. He arrived on time and gave us a better price than the other providers. We felt comfortable with his thoroughness in conducting the estimate. We scheduled the work for one week later and placed a deposit. The work went off as promised. We are very happy with the quality and professionalism of the family. Every scrap was picked up and taken away. We recommend them and in fact, we are calling them today to have some more work done. Thanks JK for restoring my faith in a good solid family business. I had purchased my home only two months before having this work done. I got two other estimates before choosing JK Construction to do the work. JK Construction was not the lowest bid. One of the main reasons I choose this company was that the salesman, Andy, was not just a salesman. He had obviously done this type of work himself because he was able to explain to me in great detail how it would be done. He understood that the house I had purchased had been neglected for at least 10 years and explained what kinds of problems might be found while doing this job. I greatly valued not only his expertise but his honestly as well. As it happened, the job went very smoothly and every time I drive up to my house I'm still thrilled with the transformation. I highly recommend JK Construction.

They never went onto the lawn which is important because we have a sprinkler system. They were not the cheapest but were indeed the best, could not be happier. They also gave us a $700 discount because we were Angie's List members, I would recommend them to anyone. They also cleaned up everything before they left.

JK Home Improvement was on time for all appointments and completed the work in a timely manner.

They came out punctually and gave an estimate of cost of the siding work. Examples with addresses of prior work was provided for references. When we decided to go with JK they gave a good estimate of their starting date and how long the project would take. The team worked efficiently and were focused start to finish. Minor miscommunication points were straightened out quickly and before the work was started. We had vinyl siding installed on a large home and were pleased with the attention to detail with the work and color scheme. We would recommend them to others.

Amazing! Installation of vinyl siding was initially scheduled for 7/19. I was called on 7/6 to be advised that they would do the job on 7/7. I approved! I got the call on my cell phone, away from the house. When we arrived home the material was neatly stacked in my driveway, carefully placed so the garage doors were not blocked. When I was called I was told they would start just before noon on the 7th. They arrived on time: a crew of 8! The sales rep walked senior members of the team through the contract discussing some of the challenges of the job. Meanwhile a collection of ladders were being unloaded and appropriately placed. A metal break was set up in one bay of our 3 bay garage. A mitre station was set up off the north west corner of the building. Materials were appropriately placed around the site. Work began and the crew operated like a well oiled machine. One of the company owners, an active member of the crew, also kept a weather eye on the rest of the crew. He ensured that ladders were set correctly, difficult items were safely and properly taken care of. There were no "weak sisters" in this crew, everybody pitched in to do the job expeditiously and correctly. At the end of the first day, the site was cleared of scrap and debris and the area in the garage where their break was set up was blown clean. On the dot at 8:00 AM Friday the crew arrived and was quickly back on the job. By 1:00 PM the job was done. This contractor did an amazing job. I can highly recommend JK Home improvement. It was awesome and much appreciated experience. Amazing!

The job took about 6 weeks to start but they kept us informed every few weeks. The job was suppose to take 4 days but they were done in 3. The showed up on time with a huge crew and worked till 6pm. Every evening they clean up the front and backyards. All workers were polite. I would recommend this company to everyone. In my book they deserve an A+++++.

The owner was polite, thorough, and professional. I would contact him if I needed to have siding or gutter replaced. I would also be leary about his pricing and would do detailed comparisons with other companies.

Excellent experience. Easy to work with and no pressure. Contacted JK late in the day and received a call that evening set up an appointment that week . Andy came out gave us his expertise and a bid. In the process his followup was excellent and his crew had a good eye for detail and workmenship.

Contacted J&K because of the excellent reviews on Angie's list; which I can verify are well deserved! Called on Friday and Andy was able to come out and give us an estimate on Saturday. We did not get any other bids on the job so I can't really comment on the price; other than to say I think it was well worth the money spent. Andy was very professional and helpful. He explained exactly what our options were and what the total would be. We signed the contract that day. They began the job the following week and finished in approximately 4 days. All the workers (including the owners, who were on site doing real), were very professional while doing the job. When they say you deal directly with the owners, you really do!! Once the job was started, they noticed that three of the upper windows needed to be retrimed (Andy could not see this looking from the ground). Normally they would charge $100 per window, but since they hadn't seen this originally, they only charged $50 per window. As it turned out, they actually did 5 windows and only charged $150 total, so that was really nice. I really appreciate that they are so interested in doing a good job that they would do something free of charge. I don't know many companies that would do that! They also installed a new light fixture at no extra charge. Ended up installing a new storm door as well; it was something Andy suggested after the job was underway. The shutters were the last thing to be installed and after that was done the worker did a final clean-up. He literally cleaned up every speck of debris on our property. The job looks so great, I am so happy we chose them to do the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

They did a great job, gave us a discount for signing for service the next week. Their workers were puntcual and fast. Great experience. Their price was about half of what others quoted us.

Everything went fine. They were here when they said they were going to be and they did a nice job. They had the lowest bid of the three we got. They had a nice list of places that we could go see in our neighborhood that were within a couple of miles of us. The quality was very good.

The owner came out and gave the estimate. His price was the lowest, plus he told me that they would do the whole job in two days. Other contractors told me it would take a couple of weeks. This was for a siding/gutter job on a 900 square foot house. True to his word, in two days they did the house wrap, siding, new picture window in the living room, new door on the porch, and all new gutters, custom bent on site, for $7700.

They were excellent at everything. I would rate them highly and would use them again.

I called two companies. I called Andy on a weekend and did not expect an answer but he did. He was at his son's game. Said he always answers because otherwise people don't think anyone is there and go to the next business. We made an appointment for monday for the estimate. It was at 630p because I work late. I happened to get off early and saw the company truck parked outside. It was Andy just making some calls and waiting. So we both were early and got it done. I liked his attitude and that he told me that it would be him and not sub-contractors doing the work. I was Ok with the price, signed contract and by Thursday my new gutters were on. There was one misunderstanding but Andy took care of everything as we agreed and was very professional. I would definitely use his company again. Oh. I did call one other company from Angie's list and they never showed up or called for the estimate.

Andy did the estimate in a timely manner, his price was under two previous quotes. He provided insurance documentation with his information packet. His team of roofers led by Casey were setting up by 7:00 on the specified day. Casey and his team had the roof done in one day!! Trim and siding were supervised by Bill who did some extra work to satisfy my suggestions. Jeff came with the crew on the last day, finished the trim and cleaned up nicely. I inspected the job with the detail of an engineer and found no concerns.
