Independent Lawn Service

First I do all my own yard work, but I saw the deal and it was great so I thought I would give it a try. Good, it did takee a long time to complete the service from the time I bought it, which was not a big deal since it was the end of the season, but I needed to call them to see when the service was happening. It was pretty wet when they finally got to the aeration, they were as careful as they could be but ended up chewing up the yard in spots. Both services were done by very professional and pleasant techs.

Company was very easy to work with and very timely.

It went very well. It was excellent and the grass already looks better than it normally does this time of year. We set up the appointment and they did the job.

I paid for the following: $79.00 for fall lawn aeration, fertilization, weed control treatment plus free lawn analysis Aeration can help control thatch build-up, create new growth, and enhance root development Deal also includes one application of slow-release, dry granular fertilizer, and liquid weed control treatment However, I did not receive the anlaysis nor did I receive the liquid week control treatment. When the young man came out to so the granular fertilizer I asked was there another application that was do. He stated no, that was it for the year. Although, they were nice when I called about my appointment (I signed up for 3 days, and they did not show for any of them), I would not use again, because I had to call for my appointment and I did not receive everything I paid for.

It went well start from informing about the appointment and the follow-up call.

Good, they had to reschedule me a few times because of weather but that's expected

I was pleased with the work. They called me before they came to have me mark where my sprinklers were to ensure nothing was damaged, and came on the day scheduled.

So far so good, they did a good job. Hired them to do more work.

Fertilization done very quickly. Once they were able to schedule the aeration service, it went very well. However, it took one month for them to schedule that.

Not sure as i wasn't at home. Although they looked professional, had sign board for service done on my lawn.

Professionally dressed for lawn care, efficient, careful, gave a few tips about dry spots in the lawn and wild violets that sprung up, sprayed weeds that had grown in the cracks of the driveway. All contacts with the company have been very professional, personally answering my questions. It is nice to work with a small local business instead of a national company. We started with Independent Lawn Service this spring after trying to take care of the lawn ourselves for a couple of years. Our lawn gooks healthier than it has in years.

It was good. They did what they were supposed to do. I thought that they were good because they did contact us right away. They were really clear about what they were going to do and when they would be here. They showed up on time. I thought they were reliable. I thought the price was good. My lawn looks pretty good. They were responsive.

Easily scheduled appointment and tech showed up exactly on time We decided to buy additional visits (total of 4) and noticed a dramatic decline in mosquito population this summer.

I signed up for the aeration but we have a narrow entry way to our back yard (about 4 feet) and the aeration machine could not go through the entry so we weren't able to get the back yard aerated.

It's kind of a complicated story because before they could aerate the lawn, we decided to do some major yard work - some retaining wall. So, I postponed that. But, I had them do the fertilizing, which worked out pretty good. But, I never got the aeration done. Now, they claim that that was never paid for. I haven't followed up with them yet on that. I could maybe, get it done next year, if possible. I haven't pursued that yet, lately. They did the fertilization as part of the deal. And then, I did hire them to do the rest of the fertilization for the season. They did a good job with that. I'm okay with that. They seem to be pretty reasonable compared to some other places I had looked at. One time, they had the signs up that they fertilized. I went out and looked really closely and they hadn't fertilized. I called. They did follow and they agreed that the guy probably forgot to open up the hopper. So, they sent another guy back out a week later to redo it. We followed up and they corrected. They are very responsive every time I call or leave a message. They are pretty punctual. They're very professional on everything.

Depending on when you buy this offer, they came out in the appropriate times to fertilize late summer and aerated the lawn in the fall. They left a bill in the mailbox when they fertilized. When I called, they explained it was standard because the employees don't know if they are regular customers or a one time angie's list deal. The office was very professional and friendly. I will use them again.
