Description of Work: They screwed me out of my last 3 sprayings plus didn't put pre-emergent in the beginning. They wouldn't re-imburse me on a pre-payment plan. I took them to court and only recovered a very small amount of $18.00. |

In April of 2014, the customer purchased 7 lawn applications, 1 grub control, and 1 aeration/overseed. The customer was informed at the time of purchase that Independent Lawn Service (ILS) could not apply a pre-emergent crabgrass preventer because it would also prevent the grass seed from germination. He prepaid for the 7 lawn applications and the aeration/overseed but decided he would pay for the grub prevention application when it was complete. The customer did not pay for the grub prevention. We contacted him multiple times regarding the payment; he never responded. This forced us to place his services on hold and apply the balance of his prepay to the grub control. This left an $18.72 credit on his account. We called to review 2015 service with the customer and he informed us that he had filed suit against ILS. We appeared in court to present our position. Judgement was rendered in favor of ILS and we paid him the $18.72 credit on his account and not the $186 he had claimed. Interestingly enough the customer has tried 3 times to schedule service with ILS since then.

Description of Work: The people in the office are courteous and efficient on the telephone. The person in the field is another story. He was unavailable and/or did not return calls. Thus I never got my lawn assessed and fertilized. I really wanted this work done but after a point I just gave up trying to speak with someone who would at least look at the lawn. I am very disappointed.

Description of Work: Had lawn errigated and fertilized for winter. They were fast in scheduling and i decided to use their service next year. Received a bill but hopefully after I call, it will be resolved. So far, they have been great. They don't call and annoy you for future service. They are A++ on my list. Thanks Angie's list!!!
