Independent Lawn Service

It was okay. I would recommend them. The only thing is that the price for the service is low when we directly purchase from them or get a service from them directly. I just got a discount from Angie's List. Maybe, I would not use them again the future because they are kind of expensive.

It is working good. I still have a contract with them for next year. There were additional charges on top of the big deal amount of $79. I purchased some extra things like aeration of the lawn and things like that that they charged for. It was like $50 more. They're not pushy. They gave me a decent price. I had to negotiate for the second year, to keep the same discounts that they gave me. They held on to the same pricing.

After some initial confusion about the start of my service..they arrived promptly and did the job in a very professional manner throughout the summer. Like all lawn companies they offered extra services but there was no pushiness involved. I still hate the "we'll start next summer unless you tell us differently" approach that all lawn services use, but this company appears to do what they say they are going to do and listens when you call them and responds well.

It turned out pretty well. They got back to me right away. They did respond pretty quickly.

The treatments were spread out over several months, but all were done professionally and they came when they said they would. We had no issues and would hire them again.

We could not be more pleased with Independent Lawn Service. They call a day in advance of coming to our home. They are prompt and quick to respond to our phone calls. They also did an aeration and over seeding at a small additional cost. We will certainly hire this company next summer. Excellent workers and excellent job.

I hired them about a year ago. It went very well. I highly recommend them. They answer and return all my calls. They do great work. My backyard is 4 times the size of every other backyard in the neighborhood and they are in and out of here quick. They have been very helpful. They work with me.

Treated weeds and applied lawn fertilizer this past spring and summer. Outstanding job and would recommend to friends and family.

The fertilizer the company has put down in the past is working satisfactorily along with the fertilizer I put down. On the last application on June 19, the service man was supposedly doing weed control while traveling on his fertilizer spreader at a speed I could not believe. He would occasionally squirt. at a weed, but at the speed he was going he was mostly just passing by. After, the supposedly last weed application with poor results I started back doing my own weed control. On May 22,2014, I observed a service man come to the front of our house, and he stayed in his truck most of the time. He finally got out of his truck and came to the front of the house as my I watched him the whole time. I went out to ask him what he was doing and all he did was leave a bill on my front door for $76.30 for applying pest control to the perimeter of the house. My wife was in the kitchen the whole time and never saw him at the back of the house. I made the mistake of hiring this firm for the whole season and it was a big mistake.

It went well, I have no complaints.

The tech are knowledgeable and are very professional. This is my 1st year with them. Hopefully, I should have good lawn. I would recommend Independent Lawn Care.

Independent came out for the aeration and noticed standing puddles on the lawn. They did not perform the service at that time because it would damage the grass. The aeration was taken care of at a later date. I was surprised and delighted that they actually cared about our property. Most lawn care companies would have done the aeration, leaving ruts in the lawn, so they would not have to return a second time.

I get the whole summer treatment and they started a week ago. They are doing fertilization and weed treatment for the lawn for the entire summer. They're real fast, real responsive, great price and the best deal all around. Probably the best service you could get. They were local and the guy was really knowledgeable. I'm using them for tree and bushes too.

I originally signed up for aeration, but I ended up signing up for fertilizer application. My grass now looks much better than before. They did a great job. No issues. Will continue to use their service for the rest of the season.

They came on time. Initially they advertised one price, but because I had more to do I ended up paying more. I agreed and paid for it. They did a good job and I don’t have any recommendation for any improvement. Their price was good.

It's really hard to tell but it's actually fine. They actually took a long time to get thorough us which is not the best. Their popularity is the reason for their delays.
